Well, even if it does drop down to 8. something, you still have to give it credit for being the only perfect score on gamespot for like 10 years.

more importantly, if it gets AAA, does it count as a proper AAA?chutupI don't think so. I don't think that VC games should be reviewed by GS to begin with. GS scores suck, they always sucked, even on games I thought deserved good grades, GS blew out of proportion.

Not a AAA exclusive. I wouldn't buy a 250$ console to play ocorina for another 10$... and thats what proper triple AAA's are about. If I bought a 360, it'd be to finally see what this gears of war ruckus is about. If I bought a ps3, it'd be waiting for final fantasy. I doubt anyone would buy a Wii for OoT. They can find the master quest packin in quite a few gamestops-- and that includes extra content.
the reviews are so stupid. They have the idiocy to rate the GRAPHICS. They said Kid Icarus's graphics were "Bland" WELL NO CRAP! IT's a friggen 8 bit game from like 20+ years ago!FlawlessSeasonsI think reviewing it is fine.....the problem is you can;t review on today's standards....(not that you have to review everything as a "classic")...but for it's time and the price you're paying now is it worth it and what are the things it does well or not so well (for the time).....

why would anyone care? Its been reviewed as a 10/10 for the N64 long ago. didn't the game release in 1998? NOT 2006?

fanboys.
I think it will get nothing less then a 9, anything less would be an insult. The only thing that has aged is the graphics, but it still works for the game. It was also one of the best games of that generation so its unlikely to get less than 9. It would be unfair as well, it would be like re-reviewing Star Wars and giving it a low score because it doesn't have the latest special effects.
EDIT: Actually I take that back, I have just looked at some of the VC review scores, some of the best games of those generations have been given quite low scores. If Super Mario World and Mario 64 have been given such low scores, I have to now doubt OOT will get a high one. Both Super Mario World and Mario 64 were considered masterpieces at the time.
What bothers me is that while I can imagine that Mario 64 could be judged harshly against todays 3D standard, Super Mario World is timeless it truly is a master piece and it only got 8.5.
On a different note I think they will use the GC version of OOT as the porting jobs been done. So there may be less emulating issues than with other games.

[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]No more than 8.5. It will be reviewed by Jeff. Sheep will complain about it being "teh most perfect game eva!" and "Jeff is teh biased against teh Zelda!" And a lot will porn suicide.JandurinI really hope no one porn suicides over a 10 year old game that originally received a 10/10. It would cause me to become more caustic when dealing with the hardcore Nintendo fanboys.
