What September game(s) are you most looking forward to?

Right now I’m in Japan having a great time! But I look forward to next month’s games when I come back. For sure I will be getting Astro Bot along with the Limited Edition controller! What about you, SW? What September game(s) are you most looking forward to?

Looks like nothing. Kinda sucks, cos I haven't played anything since Rebirth as i've been dealing with other things, but wanna get back to gaming.

the only games I'm looking forward to in September and buying

Star Wars Jedi Survivor for either Playstation 4 or for my X Box One S.

along with Epic Mickey 1 for my Nintendo Switch Lite

As of right now, I'm still playing Black Myth: Wukong so that's gonna consume my time, and besides, Star Wars Outlaws comes out on August 27th (at the time of this post) so that's another time-consuming, so technically, I'm not gonna be able to play any games this September as I'm already busy.

I'll get Astrobot on a sale down the road...unless the rumors are true it'll come to PC, I might wait for that. And as for God: Ragnarok PC, I can get that when it launches as I've been meaning to replay it since I enjoy it on PS5. Wanna see what the PC version has to offer and of course, mods. (I wouldn't be surprised to see an MCU Thor mod)

Edit: I guess God of War: Ragnarok PC will be the only game I'm picking up for September of 2024.

The new age of mythology version

I am fan of the age games and even though I have always been more of an age of kings player. I am looking forward to how this is done.

There is a lot this month! Astro Bot and Sunsoft collection which has games I have never played before and will be cool to discover. Gimmick 2 sounds good and I appreciate that it is 2D and not 2.5D. I'm interested in reviews for Test Drive. There is a lot more that looks cool but I will have to look into them more to decide. I spent so much time on Elden Ring and ignoring everything else. All these games are coming at a good time because I may be wrapping things up soon and playing something else before I do NG+

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP as I never got to play the original. I might not jump on right away but eventually will.

I had no idea they were re-releasing Broken Sword: Shadow Of The Templars. I love this series and have played each entry... I think. I picked up the first on PC on a bargain shelf for $5 back when the first game went by Circle Of Blood here in the US way back in late 90s. Friend years later gave me his copy of the sequel. Played the next two on PC via Steam I think. Played 5th one on my Xbox. I'd love to return to the series. Hope they bring more back.

Maybe Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, but that's a big MAYBE as I need to see a lot more.

I'll finally have some money! In fact, I might even have some by the end of this month, just in time to grab that launch discount for Sins of a Solar Empire II. Hopefully. No guarantees, but it's looking good.

Obviously Space Marine 2. We march for Macragge! Also, Age of Mythology: Retold. They're the top of my list.

Also interesting to me are Lollipop Chainsaw and Yars Rising. The latter because WayForward is a dev I've been keeping an eye on for years, and this is their first new project that isn't Shantae. Want to see how it goes and see if they've learned any lessons.

Finally, Jedi Survivor on PC is supposed to be getting a performance patch along with its PS4/XBO launch. Will it finally be playable? High hopes, low expectations.

I'll likely buy Zelda and send it to my son off at college! Dropped him off two days ago... Miss him so much already. He could use some home town reminders by then. .. Nothing beats a new game from dad.

I kind of want the karate kid game to be really good.... Like I'm gonna be disappointed if its poo.

Will buy Ragnarok down the road... Possibly save it for next iteration steam deck.

I don't think I will be buying any games this month. Just so much to play currently. But the following are definitely being added to the ol backlog.

Zelda: Wisdom (Will probably get when the Switch 2 is out).

GOW Ragnarok, Space Marine: Maybe around christmas.

Starfield: I never bought the base game. I said I'd wait for an expansion and give Bethesda some time to patch. Still maybe not for a while though. BG3 first I think.

I must try Frostpunk too at some stage: I hear good things.

Astrobot when it launches on PC but in the meantime, maybe Starfield.

The Casting of Frank Stone looks interesting. I am also waiting for reviews of Dead Rising Remaster and Epic Mickey Mouse.

The patches have improved Starfield, but honestly the game was already pretty good at launch date. Far less buggy than what you'd normally expect from Bethesda.

They pushed back the release date of Throne and Liberty 2 weeks but it's still my number one on that list.

Quidditch and Plucky Squire are both coming to ps plus day one, so I'll try them out.

Crossy Roads Castle will probably get some playtime as well.

NBA, Test Drive, and Astro Bot are all up in the air and I might either skip them, get all, or a combination at some point.

Next month is the start of the bigger games I'm really wanting though. Things are heating up.

Next month I want: Metaphor Refantazio, New World Aeternum, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Call of Duty Black Ops 6, Pokemon Trading Card Game (I'll see what it's about), and Dragon Age Veilguard. I already have NW and CoD pre-ordered and I'm about to get MR and ill likely pick up MP physical.

I find it a bit irritating that they never fully fixed the Jedi Survivor performance having played it a month ago but they've been working on last gen console versions.

In any case I just started playing Baldur's Gate 3 so I'm pretty sure I won't be playing much else this month. Space Marine 2 looks fun though I'll probably get it eventually

Apparently (I think it was DF that said it in one of their clip vids) they do have a patch in the works for current gen systems and PC to improve things. Fingers crossed it's true and the game gets sorted.

I was looking forward to Plucky Squire, I hope the reviews are good because it looks fun.

I’ve been psyched for Warhammer Space Marine 2 since February, I think it will be the game of the year for myself personally. I haven’t been excited about video games much this year besides this one, and from the previews it should live up to the hype!
