i would love to see a follow up to alpha protocol that didnt feel rushed and half baked otherwise that game would have been my goty still it is holding a special place in my heart cause some of the aggresive things are badass like bottling grigori or throwing shaheed off a bridge never ever get old just so funny.

Shooter tps rpg like parasite eve

shmup/action, like sin and punishment 2. sort of like a shoot-em-up but with a wide variety of melee attacks that are required for certain enemies or during certain periods of boss battles. I would love a hack-n-slash/shmup

I would like to see a cross between God of War and Halo. Gameplay wise, not story and characters.

Dunno. Great shooters mostly depend on gunplay and atmosphere. That being said, I think the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series is a great example of a shooter that knit several genres together rather well (FPS, horror, RPG, sandbox, team-based shooter and even stealth if you use certain mods). Basically, I don't care what genres are used, but basicallyshooters need to become less scripted and linear.

Because apoor execution of a certain concept doesn't make the concept any less interesting.

More games like Metroid Prime and Half-Life 2 please. Also, no one has mentioned this, but I think what Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath did with the 3rd person platforming/action and first person shooter elements was pretty cool. It also had a very cool weapon system/selection. That game was pretty awesome.
