What should Hideo Kojima Do Next?

Okay Like many of you I ve just finished MGS4 and I am Truly satisfied with the game. However where does Kojima go from now? I personally would like him to do 1 of 3 things in no particular order

1. Remake the msx games games using MGS4 Engine

I would really like this. Would be great to see Solid Snake back as a rookie in full 3D and with the amazing production values of 4.

2. Make another Metal Gear Solid series in different universe.

So like the Final Fantasys, Zeldas etc without any link to the previous games. Would be interesting to see what Kojima could cook up with a completely fresh slate. ( Wasn't this his original intentions? )

3. Make a new action adventure game.

Again I think it would be really interesting to see what he could come up with. I personally would like another 3rd person stealth action game although with MGS4 he demonstrated he could do action very well so I wouldn't be disappointed if he took an entirely action oriented a approach

Here what I would like and theres only one thing i can think of that I wouldnt like which is.

To add any more sequels or prequels to the current series.

Obvioulsy I wont spoil anything but Ill just say that I was very satisfied with how everything turned out in MGS4 and I think to add anything to it could possobly ruin it particulary a sequel I wouldnt mind a prequel so much but still I like it how it is at the moment.

So what your opinions?

Release all MGS's for xbox 360 and go out from developing games with a bang

all kojima needs to do is pile together all MGS cutscenes and you will have 4 full fledged movies

i'd like him to make a new action adventure game if he's done with MGS

i dunno if they'd get on, but he could join itagaki on something new, since he's currently out of a job .. what a crazy team that would be!

Snes games? Hideo Kojima never made games on the snes. Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 were both MSX games. The first was ported to the NES and downgraded, and there was also a second spinoff game on the NES that was made without Kojima even knowing about it.

Eureka! Getting a $500 console is not worth 1 game! LOL.

I think Kojima should finish MGS and not keep going with it. When you stretch epic titles like that beyond what they were meant to be, it just screws up the games. I haven't played MGS4 but I've heard it's really good and there's no point tarnishing the series with bad games. That's the same way I feel about a 4th God of War. It was planned for 3 and another one would just ruin the series.

Kojima's made a name for himself, now he should move on and prove himself beyond the Metal Gear Solid series. It won't be easy, but he'll probably try his best, knowing him.

BTW, it is not coming to the 360. MAAAAAAYYYYYYYBEEEEE the PC. But that's a huge maybe. But MGS4 is coming to the 360 when God of War is, and that's a Sony-created game. You get the point.

He's doing a Wii title from what i've read or has one in production. If i remember right didnt he do a RPG called suikoden? I'd like to see a RPG which is not SE and is on the Wii.

I don't know if he had anything to do with Suiko, but it was by Konami, and it did own. (they really need to add that to the Playstation Store) PS3 is ok, but jeez that online store is such a filthy flop.

A new IP entirely. I wish Bungie would do the same as well. I'm really interested in seeing what else these guys can do.

I don't like Halo at all, but I can appreciate the skill behind its design and its overall impact, and I loved past Bungie games like Myth.

I want them and Kojima to go in an entirely new direction, to see what they're capable of and how they can impact other genres with today's technology. They could bring back a couple of older series to do that, but I'd rather see them do something else completely.

why do you think he should make another stealth game? it sounds like you are underestimating his creative abilities. i'd like to see him move away from the mgs story - someone else he faithfully trusts can re-make them, and make a game in a different genre,theme and universe. just give him the time and money and he'll make another great series.

i think he should do i fighting game featuring all of the major characters from the mgs series... nah im joking

id love to see a new zoe though, i can imagine the graphics and the cutscenes in a few years time, ooh it would be too much

I wasnt undersetimating his abilties its just stealth action games are clearly what he konws best. It was also me being selfish becuase i like 3rd person action games more than any other

Although, he doesn't really have much interest in the 360 in the first place, so it's doubtful. And MGS4 already proved that there is more than money involved when it comes to an exclusive from Kojima, which is why I find it laughable that 360 fanboys still think it's coming. Hint: it's not.

To get Altair's costume I think you have to kill 50 enemies with CQC and get under 25 alerts.

Ofc it could make it as a movie, it all depends on the director and the art decisions made, if any game could make a good movie it's metal gear solid. I had some friends over the other day that don't play games and love movies, they saw the whole vamp raiden sequence in MGS4 and they were amazed, they literally loved it and they had no clue who these dudes were.
