X360 is the superior games console. More exclusives, more highly rated exclusives, better online, more options, bigger, better community. Superior for gaming. Get a PS3 if you want to watch blu-ray though.
Whichever exclusives on either system you prefer, however next time pls dont make a thread like this on system wars, because...you probably will be exposed by many fanboy's opnions and will thus cloud your lack of judgement on the issue.
PS3 is the superior games console. More exclusives, More Unique and Highly Anticipated Exclusives coming, more multimedia options then you can shake a stick at, internet browser built in, Blu-Ray Movies, Superior for gaming. Get a 360 if you want to play on a bigger better online experience.
i can play this game too.

Seriously though. i'd say get both if you can.
they both have great exclusives.
360 has the Halo 3, Gears of War 1,2, Mass Effect, Ace Combat 6 as exclusives. as well as - currently - a lot more JRPG exclusives on em' (most are meh, with exception of Star Ocean 4, and Lost Oddessey).
PS3 has the Resistance 1 and 2, Killzone 2, Uncharted, inFamous, Little Big Planet, Metal Gear Solid 4, Folklore. it does have one terrible exclusive called Lair.
There are great upcoming exclsuives for both. (i'm counting console exclusive in this)
360 is getting, Left 4 Dead 2, Mass Effect 2, Halo ODST, Halo Reach, Splinter Cell Conviction, Forza Motorsport 3 and a bunch more. we can also expect a Gears of War 3
PS3 has Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2, White Knight Chronicles, Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, Final Fantasy Versus 13, a bunch more.
You could virtually just play right off their exclusives only for both and the two would keep you more then enough busy gaming wise. Not to mention the great third party support.
Final Fantasy 13, Bioshock 1 and 2, Fallout 3, etc. etc. etc.
I started out this gen as a big fan of 360, and i still am, after about 5 months with my PS3, i'd have to give the edge to the PS3. the only thing it is lacking IMO is the online support. i own both, and i main on PS3, but there are great 360 AND PS3 exclusives and what they offer compliment each other pretty well, even though most of the games are shared between the two.
Get a 360. Mine got the RROD on Saturday but it's getting fixed. Library is much too good to let go.
Preference...
Get a 360 if:
-You love WRPGS
-Your thinking of getting Halo/GeoW/Fable
-You cannot afford a gaming rig and want M$ "Exclusives"
-You want getting ripped off by M$
-You want getting scammed off your hard earned money (Live and overpriced hard drives)
-You want junky tech and RROD and half a dozen or so trips to the repair shop
-You plan on buying this system a couple of times
Get a PS3:
-You want blue-ray
-You want free online
-You want JRPGS
-You want $ony "Exclusives"
-You want to surf the net on the PS3
-You want spending lots of $$$ on an overpriced console
-You want buying overpriced hard drives
Get Both if:
-You can afford
-You don't want to miss a thing this gen
-You LOVE paying 10$ more for games compared their pc counterparts
-You LOVE waiting months for a price drop
-You LOVE having no choice but to either take or leave (no alternative) anything M$ or $ony throws at you.
Or you can get a gaming PC it is the price of both consoles.
I had a 360for about a year and a half and it broke...stupid machine. I was gutted. Reading up on the ps3 I am buying one today :-) an 80gb one.
I would personally go for the ps3 :-)
Get a 360 if you want to be nickeled and dimed (which comes out to be more expensive than a PS3)
Get a 360 if you want an unreliable system
Get a 360 if you want to pay to play games online (when every other console lets you play online for free)
Get a PS3 if you want a 1 shot no hidden costs, all in one package.
Get a PS3 if you want a reliable system
Get a Ps3 if you want to play games online for free (yes the same games that the 360 has to pay to play even after you paid $60 just for the game)
Pretty easy choice to me.

Id go with PS3 because in my opinion it hasbest the exclusives.Multiplatforms do run better on 360 but not like its going to deeply effect your gameplay.Online is free on PS3 and you have to paay on 360.360 has RROD(red ring of death) but PS3 has YLOD( yellow light of death). They both break your system although YLOD is way less common then RROD and mainly only occures on 60GB model.
ps3 better overall console
360 better game console
the 360 took it's one year headstart and ran away with it, the ps3 will never catch up in overall game quality despite having a bright spot in the library here and there.
then again if you like the ps3 exclusives better go with it, i've got both and like the 360 better overall but the ps3 is pretty fun too.

I'm thinkg about getting a wii aswell. i would recommend it. i hadent used it in a while but i just recently did again. the VC is by far the best place for games. XBLA and PSN are jokes in comparison
