what should i get for xmas another 360 or a PS3

ok my mom is gonna go shopping on black friday and she said shes gonna buy me a PS3 (never had one) or a new xbox360 i have one but it always breaks (sent it in 2 times)

the reasons i wanna get anoher 360 is because
1. i have all the games for it already
2. i have friends on it already
3. satisfied with most of my games but nothing new
4. nice exlusives that are out now

reasons for PS3
1. it doesnt break as easily as 360 (does it i want to confirm)
2. it has a built in online adapter built into it
3. like the coming lineup of games (not really interested in 360 lineup anymore)

also if i do get a PS3 i have some question....
1. are all games chat enabled (like can you talk with a headeset and were do i get a headset)
2. what kind of storage device does it have? is it built in the PS3?
3. how often do i have to update firmware?
4. how does the overall sony system work?
5. does it only play blu ray dvds?

please help me with this harsh dilemma if i can think of any other questions i will update it.

Go to Circuit City and buy a 360 it comes with two free games and a wireless controller. Unless you really want a PS3, which comes with Spiderman 3 on blu-ray and 5 free movies by mail in rebate. You also get a free wireless controller with that. SHOP AT CIRCUIT CITY!!1!

2. Playstation network is awesome download tons of demos, pics, videos, etc. U can do voice chat with any game, and u can even talk to your friends via video chat. (with webcam) plus u get a great internet browser

3. Divx video support is coming to ps3 and ingame xmb and HOME is coming in late nov./dec!!!!

4. Great games (just got unchated and its freakin awesome, getting unreal tournament 3 in dec.11)

5. killzone 2 is confirmed for release feb.1 2007!!! plus god of war 3 in Q408, mgs4, gran turismo 5, rachet and clank, etc

6. Ps3 has built in hdd (40gb great for storing tons of stuff plus u can easily upgrade to larger HDD every easy.)

Look at your own pro's for the systems, the 360 is now the PS3 is the future. Choose what you think is right.

As for your questions:

1 All games I know of that can be played online support voice chat. Not every game has a lot of people talking trough their headsets though.

2 It's got a hard drive that's normally in a laptop. It's built in but you can change it for a bigger one if you want.

3 Every now and then; this goes automatically. (sorta)

4 This question needs some specifying

5 No it plays normal DVD's too. You can also stream stuff directly from your pc, trough you PS3 to your tv.

The Wal-Mart deal is actually 10 free in store and 5 free in mail with the $599 PS3. TC I would go with PS3 since you already have a 360.

Geta Ps3 Man dont deal with that 360 garbage most games on 360 r using its full power while Uncharted for example has the best graphics and everything only used 30% of ps3s power and its not possible on 360. U can also burn your music cds on ps3, and play dvd(though if u have hdtv they get upscaled to get better picture.) plays ps3/ps1 games in HDmaksumic

1. all of the online games i have i can chat with other people. bu you cannot private chat with people who are in other games. if you want to private chat with a friend, you must do it in a chat room.

2.every version of a ps3 has a harddrive. the $400 model has 40gb and the $500 has 80gb (correct me somebody, if i'm wrong about this)

3. the updates can be from 1 a month, to 1 every couple of months. although sometimes, if needed, additional firmware updates in a month will come out.

4. ??? what are you talking about? online? offline? if online, id say its ok and its free, but its not that great or better than xbl.

5. for games or movies? if games, then the 40gb version cannot play ps2 games or ps1 games. all ps3 games by the way, or in blu-ray. if movies, then every ps3 can play both blu-ray movies, dvds, and even cds.
