What system are you going to buy GTA on? (POLL)

Im going to buy it on both. Just because i like the PS3 more and i dont want to hear 360 fanboys saying how much better their version is. I want it on the PS3 because ive always played the GTA series on a Playstaion console. I tried playing GTA Vice City on the Xbox when it first came out and i couldnt get use to the controller...it just felt odd.

I don't really want it at all, but if I was going to buy it, I'd get it on the PC (both because I don't own a 360 or a PS3, and because of mods).

Xbox 360 here, don't own a PS3. If I had to choose I would buy it on the 360 anyway because of DLC.

Atm i only have a 360, and i properly won't get enough money for a PS3 before its released... so i'm buying it for the 360.

that is to say, IF i somehow magically get the money for a PS3, or i win one, or whatever, i would weigh them up, pro's and con's and see which i would think come out on top, framerate, graphics, downloadable content etc (not online multiplayer because idc about that!) and buy that one.

360, so far has the only confirmed DLC.

I have both but I will get the ps3 one. its free online plus my friends have ps3's so I can play them online.

I like the ps3 controller more, since I use the ps3 most. Plus I am not going to pay for more missions and waste HDD space. I never cared much for the campaign, apart from unocking the islands and guns. I would get bored with more missions. I just like roaming around messing about.

360 - since i don't have a PS3 (yet)

even if i did, the 260 version will have the exclusive DLC, a better online IMO, a better pad IMO, and achievements are a slight incentive as well

360 for these reasons:

achievements - so everyone will know that you did find all the hidden packages and killed 10 thousand hookers, for example.

rumble - you don't have to wait or import anything, that rumble is found out of the box.

headsets - everyone will have one because its standard, so the multiplayer will be more organized and not just running around all over the city or whatever wondering around.

custom sound tracks - its a nice little extra feature when you want to bump your own music while crusing the streets of New Liberty.

exclusive episodic content - the story doesn't end when the main story ends, or it can even be a whole new story with new characters or even old characters like Tommy Vercetti and Carl Johnson. having exclusive episdoic content there and you could get it anytime you want is just comforting.

Especially if the rumours of exclusive multiplayer on 360 are true.braydee1234

Um whats the point of htis thread? Everyone knows that there are more 360 owners here than Ps3 owners, BUT things are different outside.

I am buying the special Edtion of GTA IV 360 & getting the reg edition for PS3.

and yes i will be buying the DLC. why... because i am a gamer.

lmfao that was awesome yea I'm probably going to go with the 360 version, but I'm going to wait and see what the reviews look like for both before I fully decide on a console.

Looking at the total of votes, the 360 wins again as always, great choice for the people who voted for the superior version for the 360. It's not about which consoles its on, it's about which version will get more content, exclusive ones too.
