I think it was either the Commodore Vic 20/C64, Spectrum ZX or Vectrex... not sure. My childhood is hazy, lol, my favourite console as a child was probably the Sega Master System. I remember playing Double Dragon with my brother for the first time, that was "awesome". Could of been the Amiga... lol, I should drink less! Memory loss is not amusing.

The Spectrum ZX. Though that was really my parents.

The first system that was mine was the Gameboy and the first console was the Snes.

My Dad still has one with floppy Drive, Modem and casette drive....:o  But not for sale. Im sure there has to be one out there some place.

I'm not entirely sure whether I started on a NES or SNES, as the first game I ever played was Super Mario Bros. 3, and I no longer have to system.  However, I think it was the SNES version.

The first system I owned was NES. As time went on I usually only had one major console from each generation, but would go back and get previous systems from ealier generations and play them when they wern't so expensive. My Gaming Lineage: Mac Apple II (no longer own) NES PC (I used PC from here and evolved with it to today) Game Gear Genesis Playstation Dreamcast Playstation 2 Gamecube PSP Playstation 3 Systems I've purchased after their time and still own: Sega CD Sega 32X Saturn Sega Nomad (portable Genesis) N64 Systems I've purchased during or after their time and no longer own: SNES Virtual Boy GBC GBA GBA SP 3DO Jaguar Atari 2600 Game.com Xbox I've had quite a few as you can see. Good times... :)
