Seems like anywhere I go, I ran into them. They're everywhere. On Steam, PSN, Live -- all shouting, calling me a noob. What platform has the most of these? It depends on the games you play. you go for a popular shooter (regardless if it's on XBL or PSN) you'll find them you go for a not so popular game there's a smaller chance of finding them
I have never encountered them on PSN and have primarily played KZ2, Uncharted 2, and MW2 on it. I have encountered several on XBL while playing it at my friends house with MW2. Just listing experiences. Accept them or not, not my problem.
It probably has more to do with the game than the system. Halo is probably the worst, but it just happens to be on XBL. COD is bad on both systems. Killzone 2 was rarely plagued by annoying kids. Battlefield, on both systems, is almost never plagued with annoying kids.

Most of my XBL experience has been on Battlefield Bad Company 2 with a full squad or two of RL friends. I almost never hear children on the mic. Then when I go to a buddy's house and they are playing Halo with randoms, I hear a fairly consistent stream of annoying kid chatter. It's definitely not one system or another. The "nobody on PS3 has a mic" thing doesn't hold much water when you play COD. Everyone seems to have a mic, and be annoying.
XBL clearly seeing as the majoriyt of population actually use/have mics.. That doesn't mean PSN is any more mature, its just it seems the majoiryt of people on the system either don't use mics or don't have them.

Followed by Call of Duty.this pretty much. i havent played online without using party chat since it was invented. besides when i play Street Fighter 4 and i havent ran into any jerks so far on that game.
Yep. There may be more on live as a result of more users having mics, but the difference is probably minimal. In my experience, the screaming 12 year olds (as well as adults who simply act like children) seem to be found in certain games (COD, U2) as opposed to the network itself.
Yep. I think I've found more on Xbox Live, but I also play on Xbox Live a lot more than PSN, so it's hard to tell, so I agree with sik, they are everywhere. I know my son's, which are 12, have their own Live accts, but I monitor them, and I have taught them to be very considerate, and less annoying(hopefully). I also review their friends list, and make sure most of their friends are of the same age range. That way most of them are playing together, and not intruding on adult matches. Since the 360 is cheaper, I would assume that more kids would have access to them,but the PSN is free, so it would be more accessible to kids who own a PS3 and want to sign up to the network. It simply goes both ways, and if you don't want to play with them simply mute them,or find another match. Let the kids be kids, we all were once annoying 12 year olds!lol

I've never EVER heard of any kids on MAG, I hear alot of 30+ years olds, but little kids? nope. I rarely hear teenagers either. And? I have heard plenty not really a problem i just block them if they start to annoy me that much.
