Most schools have a system that the majority of the kids support. At my high school, 360 is the way to go. I thought it would be interesting to see what the overall support is for your school...
PSP, everybody at my school has one.. but all they do is listen to music on it. Other than that, I have no idea what they have. Maybe the 360, cuz they always talk about Halo.
I do not know last year everyone wanted a 360, I don't know about this year because I Graduated last year so I don't really know I'm thinking 360 or Wii because my friend he still goes to school.
The 360 used to be the most popular but because of the success of the Wii the 360 has had some serious competetion. The Ps3 isn't even mentioned without there being a swear word in the same sentence lol.

I'm in college, and at my school it's the Wii by a large margin. One of the kids is a diehard Nintendo fan and is part of the reason I got into the Wii. He bought his Wii to class before, and we were playing 4-player Wii Tennis on the projecter it was awesome. He also bought the Wii to a Virginia Beach conference we went to, and our room was the official Wii hangout spot. We had a fridge full of beer and people would just come and we'd all be playing Red Steel Death matches, Wii-sports and Wii-Play, and Warioware all day long. It was awesome.

LOL you sure they don't do math on it yet? haha hah :P possibly, they hav it out near the end of class all the time and as long as the teachers aren't lecturing or something, they don't care.
im in a dorm with 11 floors and theres a bunch of nerds on my floor hogging all of the bandwith playing WOW online. Im about to go and knock their doors down. And most of the people here are in their rooms playing either GeOW LAN or Madden for the 360
Im not sure about the numbers but its mostly xbox 360 but there are also alot of nintendo and sony fans. Its hard to tell in highschool because alot of people will go out and get a system because their friends have it just to be cool...
Calculators....seriously, they are in most popular gaming device AT the school.

during my college days it was all about pc gaming (free high speed internet and lan was new back then) and later on pirating playstation games. (not me but i actually saw flyers posted up)
Quite a few own Xbox 360s and most want a Wii. Only a few own PS3s. Some people know they want to buy it over the other two but are waiting until the price goes down.
at my work, we have 65 people, the office count is officially, 12 PS2's, 7 xbox 360's, 4 xbox's, 1 Wii, 1 PSP, and 1 PS3. The only people that actually talk about gaming though are the 360 guys and the 1 PS3 cow.
Uh, PC I guess. A lot of people play Counter-Strike at my school. But then there are a bunch of people with DSes and a lot of the casuals are showing interest in the Wii. There's only like two people that I know of that want a PS3.
People at my school have a lot more important things to spend money on than video games. Plus, with 20,000+ students... I find it hard to know the consensus when it comes to current gen consoles.
Since I live in New Zealand, most people at my school seem to think sony's miracle machine is gonna make their troubles fade away in a sea of 4-D graphics and giant crabs, but the moment I told them that the controllers had no rumble, they came to their senses and realised there was a far better (and cheaper) choice already out. The Xbox 360! Surprisingly, almost every person in my school thinks the wii is for babies. I have no idea where they got that from.
Mainly the Xbox 360, though a lot of people talk about the PlayStation 3 as well. The only people I know who talk about the Wii often are the non-casual gamers. :?
360. I go to a really small school so I know everybody. A lot of people have the 360, about 3 have the Wii, and NOBODY has a PS3. Basically me and my friend tell everyone what to buy. :P
