What system should i Get

ok, I got $1,000 or 2,000 if i get a pc (I have a xbox 360, and DS and an HD tv)

-PS3

-Wii

-PC

-Ipod

-xbox 360 elite

I will take other sugestions

I have a $1000 bucks to spend in any combiontion or on just one

depends... what was your favorite console last-gen?  What were your favorite games?  If you liked Ratchet, Jak and God of War, the PS3 is probably the way to go.  If you liked Halo, 360.  If you liked Mario, Zelda and so forth, you'll want a Wii.  However, you should also consider multi-media capabilities.  In this way the Wii lags behind its competitors while the 360 and PS3 lead the way.  The 360 has a superior online service but the PS3 has room to expand like Xbox Live did.  Also, the PS3 has linux if you're into that kind of thing.  If you're a movie buff, it depends which format you're wagering on (HD-DVD or Blu-ray) but it also depends on whether digital distribution of movies picks up or not, which in turn largely depends on whether console hard-drives increase exponentially as HD content takes up a LOT of space.

You could get an awesome PC, but you have to remember that that awesome PC you bought today will be trash 2 years from now. And, it most likely won't have either of the two HD disc formats.
