what the best game this year?

So far it's bioshock for me.

SMG or Mass Effect will probably change my opinion.

I'm gonna say SMG, but not by far, i heard that ME is pretty good, and Crysis too.

But to be honest for me is either AC, Bioshock or Mario Galaxy, the three got originality and some of the best environments i ever see.

IMO its between Crysis SMG Mass Effect(I dont know much about ME but I hear its an awesome RPG but I saw a video of it and it looks like a TPS)murat8

Oh my God I am so sick of hearing this. Yes it's a squad based TPS but it's going to be an amazing RPG especially since it's made by Bioware.

Uncharted, Crysis, SMG, CoD4, Bioshock, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, and that's all the games that have been released. Mass Effect looks like it one of the best games this year too.

Super Mario Galaxy

• Its extremely difficult
• Way to addictive
• looks nice
• some of the best music and sound design in videogames
• level designs are the most creative EVER

My list goes on and on.....

Metroid Prime 3 would come in second for me, then Portal, then Bioshock.

Portal was definitely the high point in the package imo. If Valve increased upon the game then it would probably end up being one of my favorite games of all time. Sadly... they probably will not.

Portal was definitely the high point in the package imo. If Valve increased upon the game then it would probably end up being one of my favorite games of all time. Sadly... they probably will not.

The only way Portalwill be mentioned again in the Half Life universe is if it comes up in episode 3. Otherwise, I wouldn't hold your breath.

Bring on the flaming: Halo 3. Sorry, i grew out of Mario fifteen years ago. I also like the fact that guitar hero brings so many little known bands to light, such as Dragonforce and Buckethead.

Edit: Whats with people going crazy for the SMG graphics. I've seen them, and i saw better graphics on PS2 games.
