What the heck? IGN gave Uncharted 2 graphics a................?HUH?

Fantastic cutscenes tell a very good if not perfect story.
10 Graphics
Absolutely the best of the best these days. Your jaw will drop.
9.5 Sound
Great weapon effects, fantastic voice acting and a mostly brilliant (though sometimes overdone) soundtrack.
9.5 Gameplay
Great gunplay, stealth works very well (mostly), the puzzles are rewarding and, maybe even best of all, a killer online component.
9.5 Lasting Appeal
The game is give or take about 10 hours in length, which feels right, but then there's the multiplayer. Yes, you will be hooked.

Same here.Crysis made my jaw drop but while Uncharted 2 looks amazing it probably won't make my jaw drop.

Well, from my pc only gaming standards it will surely not make me "drop my jaw".

But considering the so 2005 guts of the ps3, I guess, good job in squishing every single drop of juice of them, in a good way :)

after playing crysis on max settings....my jaws still drop with uncharted 2

Uncharted2 looks amazing! some upgrades to the engine- Screen Space Ambient Occlusion, deferred rendering, cloud computing, paralax mapping, high dynamic range tonemapping, per object motion blur, cascade shadows, sub surface scattering simulation.killzowned24

All that means to me is AWESOME GRAFIX!!!!

I'm sure KZ2 will gracifully step aside and hand it's crown over to its Sony brother Uncharted 2.

you know thats one thing i REALLY am liking about this game, there are so many very small and basicly useless stuff in the game as far garbage on the ground the masks hanging on the wall, and yet all these small things that most wont even notice in the game have so much detail in them. really shows how much work was put into this gameriver_rat3117

But seriously, this does look like the best game on consoles.

I think people will need to buy a big enough 1080p HDTV to really appreciate the graphics on this one.

I am almost sure that was the case, the game was no way a 10 and yet its like the 2nd or 3rd highest rated game of all time on gamerankings. :?

The same thing happened when crysis was released. Personally I'm not looking at this game just for the visuals either, so just give it some time and the rage will subside.

Very nice review. I never expected anything below 9.0 on any site. Gamespot review will be like 9.0-9.5.

I'm hyping it as AAAA GOTY. Multiplayer alone is 9.0 (I played it). Then again... I'm an Uncharted Fanboy :D (There's a difference between a game fanboy and a console fanboy people)
