Me? Hell yeah I will, I want HDMI, I want a Huge HD, I want a black system (buying an LN-S4696D and have a black stained glass 60" across TV stand available to me, my bed is done in all black, alot of my shirts are black, my carpet is black. The 360 in black just suits me).
I'll also be getting the PS3, although I might wait for the slimline version?

Alot of retailers are claiming to have the SKU's in the system, streeted for may 1st. M$ refuses to comment. However it still could be bogus, becasue ive heard reports that the Zephyr will only be available in Australia for a time.

new and improved version of the 360, basically there saying screw you to the people who bought a lesser version not so long ago.. and milking those who are desparate cause there 360 keeps breakin down.. you know maybe lemmings should change names to cows or something now that there being milked. In fact you have more of a choice with the ps3 than microsoft are forcing people with a new improved version. . and everyones saying blu ray is being forced down our throats lol...
And HDMI is not needed, componet is doing its job fine by me, and niether is a 120gigs of space, i still have over 9 gigs free with tons of crap demo's that i don't play anymore....
On my PS3 I have 4 trailers and 400 mb worth of music.... that 60 gig's = a waste.

Read my edit. I simply meant that you might as well just buy the Premium version since HDMI isn't really needed nor is all that extra space unless you plan on using it for IPTV.
There is still no official word on this........Besides, my current 360 is good enough. I don't need HDMI. The HDTV I want to buy for my rig, 360, PS3 and Wii, has only one HDMI slot (for the PS3 when I get it and a VGA for my rig). I am too lazy to switch manually so I usually buy AV switchers, like I did last-gen with my XBox, PS2 and NGC. So I honestly don't care about HDMI for 360, since I think Blu-Ray might end up winning and I won't need the 360 HD-DVD add-on.

Yeah, especially since the 360 has no next-gen format playback, it doesn't need HDMI. If HD-DVD was in it, then we might want HDMI. Component and VGA are fine for the 360. If I need a bigger HDD, I can easily upgrade with a mem card, and just re-DL my content. By the way, I know MS will come up with a plan for this b4 even thinking about announcing it officially.

yeah 480 bones is a lot, but they should keep the new one(if its true) in black and white, and keep the premium, and drop that G4y core

No i don't either. Wii is the best console. PS3 will end up winning again. 360 will be last. I like good games, regardless of what console. But you can't get GT5,MGS4,DMC4,GOW3 on 360. You can always wait for Halo 3,GOW,Mass Effect on PC .

My estimate for the appearance of a slimline model: 2008 to 2009 If you can wait that long, go ahead. The slimline hurts less though because I doubt there will be any significant hardware upgrades. It will just be slimmer but ultimately, the system is the same. I feel bad for the Xbox360 fans who rushed out to support their company in the early going only to get stabbed in the back as MS offers a system that is superior to the original. (Yes, the games are still the same. But it probably doesn't feel good knowing that MS is selling boxes out there with a better HD, with a better output option, with better cooling, etc... etc... if you rushed out to support MS in the early going)

The ironic thing about this is that the same people that are laughing at previous 360 owners for buying the console before this "new console" have MS laughing at them because they are getting them to buy the console.

Just to clarify, I absolutly love my Xbox360 I would trade it for a PS3 a high def tv and the whole PS3 library...well, who would want that craptastic library? Anyway, MS can do whatever they want, I own the best next gen console as is and that aint changing....

If you say so. i was at eb game and the owner said they will be getting a black 360 with 120gigs but no hdmi port and it be 500$ but u can buy the 120 gig hard dive by it self for 200$
