What the Hell is LittleBigPlanet!?!

Seriously now, everyone is talking about it, it's supposedly the most exciting thing at E3, the savior of the Playstation. I've watched videos, and I have absolutely no freakin clue what I'm looking at.

What is it, some kind of vehicular combat thing?

That's the thing. I looked it up, I watched the vids, and I see a wave of random color shoot at my eyes. I guess it's some sort of 'platformer", which is sweet, but how in the hell could you get that from the vids?

Probably because the characters ...jump, onto platforms and such?

Anyway the game is about creating your own levels with an extreme amount of customizable options that lead to almost infinite possibilities. You can share these levels online for other people to play, and you can play levels other people have created online.

You can play with other people through co-op offline and online, and comment/get ratings on your levels etc. like Youtube.

It's basically Mario + Youtube on crack.

Create, Share, and Play.

You've watched the videos...but thing it is a vehicular combat "thing"? I think you were watching the wrong videos.

Little Big PLanet is more of a puzzle game where you have to navigate your way through a level and have the ability to create new levels yourself and share them online with others. You basically have a character and have to find out how to get him from point A to point B with all the obstacles in his way.

Hmm...good explanation! I am still not interested. I can't wait for the final GT5 though.

It's like Playstation 3's Blast Works for the Wii.

Its an amazing game thats very creative.

the game seems to have no point, the thing is in mario there is a goal, soemthing to complete... this just seems like "look I created a block... jump on it..." oooooooh////

then it turned out to be just OK and didnt make a dent against the DS...

I played it, it was fun but I lost interest quick

Well if your creative enough, you can make your own gameplay in LittleBigPlanet:

Vehicle combat sure

the jump rope level was cool

reach the top of the stage, why not?

Not only can you create levels but you can also change the gameplay as well, while in core it's a platformer, in the end, it can be almost anything.

Well to my knowledge LBP isn't being hailed by the mainstream as the Wii killer....

And the only similarity, gameplay wise, between Loco Roco and LBP is that there is a cute little character that can jump. So whatever....

The opposite of the 360 exclusive, BLP ? :twisted:

No interest. I'm way too lazy to create my own levels and that's basically meant to be at least half the fun of this game as i figure it so...no buy for me.Zionborn
