this ain't crysis 2, but maybe this is what it will look like (on PC anyway).

What to expect...
Downgrade perhaps? Just kiddin', but i really don't know, there's much hype in the technology but little information about the game. I hope it's good, there are so many gameplay opportunitties and potential in the first one already, i wonder how much the second one will be. I just hope they make it harder, when playing it on the PC it feels like it would be insanely hard in a console, without the precision and the Quick-Saves, i hope they don't make it easy just because its on the consoles; the first and warhead were already somewhat easy.
I don't expect it to look quite that good(CryEngine 2 isn't even usable on modern consoles, so I doubt CryEngine 3 will look quite as good unless it's incredibly optimized.
I want a more dynamic type of sandbox gameplay, Crysis offered a good step into the genre but ultimately fell flat because of the lack of things to do within the environment, it was essentially a travel from point A to point B and approach the battle at either end of the dotted line how you see fit experience which is what I don't want to see, I'd rather something like; you could stumble upon a band of soldiers fighting aliens on your way to your destination and you can choose to help them or not and helping would gain you some additional support or some form of bonus maybe, something like that and possibly some type of Nano suit upgrades and more weapon modifications, also a true stealth experience would be fantastic for those who want the stealthy approach (LOS guards, hiding bodies, silent kills etc.)

I understand, i would like to see more ways to interact with the environment but i don't think this idead would work out. It wouldtransform Crysis into a S.T.A.L.K.E.R., i really do not want RPG elements into Crysis, it wouldn't add much to the game, it woudn't make sense-and we all know what happened when Far Cry 2 atempted it. The semi-linear experience is important to give the action sequences quality. What I would like the most is a major improvment in enemy A.I. And jungle combat!
Somehow i expect a downgrade :|

I wouldn't be surprised. CryEngine 3 is going to have to be optimized better than any engine ever before to work on current gen console AND look as good as CryEngine 2.

There's some Crysis 2 scans floating around...and it definitely looks a bit better than Crysis.I expect another game that people will whine about because it doesn't hold their hand like a baby.AAllxxjjnnAnd that think it is all graphics, no gameplay, and it can only run at max settings.
I expect Crysis 2 spam to be released shortly after. Now meatier than ever, with more fanboy and ownage rights against poor ol' consolites!
as Hermit's would say. :D
Seriously though, I expect more more generic, shaved, space marines who love to shoot first and questions later.
Yes, but now console gamers get a taste of the Crysis pie. It is win for everyone. (except Wii only gamers)I expect Crysis 2 spam to be released shortly after. Now meatier than ever, with more fanboy and ownage rights against poor ol' consolites!

Look at the AA :oThe graphics are already a given.
I'm more interested in where the story will be going, the setting, the AIand the gameplay.
The first gives many hints to other locations and possibilties and the rumour is its set 4 years after Crysis.
Well, after Crytek said that it will take place in a different kind of jungle and that the game had more verticality I assumed that it'd take place in a city. Concrete jungle FTW. I find it humorous how the first one is in a junble and the second a city. It is very similar to Predator and it's sequel. Also, they showed a parkbench in the article apparently.I am happy that it'll be optimized this time.Another outstanding FPS with amazing graphics. Actually there a couple screens of it in the new PC gamer issue and the graphics look really good. I think it looks a little better then the first one.

Well i thought the way the game could have gone is full out war with Korea, maybe invading Korea, which would give us urban combat but still keep the tropical setting, but the recent screenshots of the city park suggest its more of a temperate climate.
Also it is mentioned in the orginal Crysis that other alien craft were found in Afghanistan and Siberia, we already know the ship on the island has been their for millions of years, maybe there are other hidden ships in mountains around the world that have been there millions of years? (Maybe the alien ship was the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs? and caused an "ice age"? :P)
The ship is also sending out a signal to another galaxy, calling for reinforcments? Maybe we will see a ship crash into earth (the original intended story for Crysis)
Theres alot of potential, i know people diss Crysis story, but its an alien invasion story the same as MANY FPS games, and imo is actually told quite well, in an action hollywood moviekind of way.
This is what iam more interested in, i don'twant the same game with some new levels...

Lol the dinosaur theory is plausible. I'm excited to see the new ways to crack skulls in the new Orangutan Nanosuit.Haha true. I also expect it to be in first person and involve guns. Also to be a game.I expect good graphics.

I think it could make a pretty awesome cutscene :P
I hope they make the aliens actually fun to fight this time around. I wonder if there will even be human enemies...AAllxxjjnn
I'm sure it will, Crytek know thats what people liked best about the original, maybe we all see some 3 way battles like the original was meant to have (and Warhead sort of had) where its You vsAliens vsKoreans (or whatever new human force)
