I'm none of those. That reads like a console fanboy wrote it.

To be honest I don't like to classify myself, it only serves to show how limited an outlook on this hobby you have. I will play a game on any system and I'm always actively looking for reasons to buy other systems. Right now I'm waiting for the next gen of consoles to see how that pans out. Until then my attention shifts between the PC, 360 and PS3.

I'm mostly old school.

But I still play some modern games, for what few good ones there are.

They left 1 out. Normal Gamer- One that plays games for a good relaxing experience.

I'm kind of a mix between old-school and completionist. I'm a gameplay focused gamer and I hate it when story and cinematics get in the way of that. That's an old-school concept at this point, but there are many really good games this gen that still push gameplay over shallow cinematic experiences. I also try to get as much out of my games as I can. I never understood how people could just reach the credits of a game and say they're done with it when there is usually 80% in a game left to explore and enjoy after that.

I'm a mix of Elitist and Console fanboy

I play games that I think are fun. For example Mod Nation Racers and brawl. They get scrutinized and criticized for not being super serious Racing Sims or tournament fighters, but the games I play I do so because I enjoy them and they have good gameplay.

I consider myself a type of gamer that isn't afraid or too stuck up to label himself. I'm an oldschool and niche kind of gamer, because those are the type of games I like to play the most.

Can't I just be a gamer who plays games to have fun? Out of the list I suppose that I'm a "console fanboy" and a "hardcore purist" though I don't fit with either of those 100%.

I just play what interests me and I have fun.

90% of SW is elitists whether they want to admit or not.... I'm probably a mixture between completitionist and hardcore purist (I'm not really a hardcore purist, but there was no option for gamers who just play for fun).
