Hmm, I'm pretty sure this game will run on current rigs. A high-end DX9 card with at least a 1GB of RAM should get you at least 800x600. I hope. :)

Alothogether that will cost about $1400 AU, and I imagine you will need 1.5Gig of ram.

Who knows. Maybe Crytek can pull a Valve on this one. Source based games run very well on older hardware.

I highly doubt that would even run... at anywhere close to a playable framerate at least... :(

No. No it wouldn't. On the bright side, Crysis: The Slideshow would be pretty, if nothing else.

I've got Core 2 Duo E4300 overclocked to 3.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and a Radeon X1600 (was a freebie). Hopefully I can run this.

I'll probably move to a DX10 once ATI gets something out there. I'd love to go Nvidia and buy an 8800 right now but it's not very cost effective. And I just spent $299 on Vista.

It will run. In DX9 very well. But you are going to need about another GB of RAM and a DX10 GPU if you want what the TC posted in the pics.

I hear the Nvidia 8600 GTS is pretty good for the price and being 100% DX10 compatible.

I got a free X1650 as well. Product replacement plans FTW! :D

My computer takes 6 minutes to load MS Word 2000. My job pays me on average AU$250 a week, most of which is spent on fuel, phone credit, alcohol and the occasional PS2 game. I don't think I'll be running this game anytime soon. :(

I do not know WTH I am getting. I need money first... and that takes time... and a job. My PC right now is not even PCI-E compatible... :(

I plan... if feasible... on getting a E6300, 2GB of PC-4200 RAM and either the 8600 GTS or one of the comparable new ATI GPU's. Overclocking is a wonderful thing for those of us on tight, university budgets. :D

Get the E4300 and a really nice cooling setup. We're talking 80 and 90 percent overclocks. It's the new 300A.

I don't know, I always buy a CPU based upon overclocking ability. Since I don't sleep in the same room as my PC, it can sound like a wind tunnel. I was able to push a Celeron D 2.93Ghz to nearly 4Ghz, and it was a CPU that cost less than $100.
