What version of modern warefare 2 should i get?

I can get it for pc, 360, or ps3... I know the pc version will look best but i hear theres no dedicated servers and theres been lots of hackers so im not sure. No idea which is better out of the console versions.

I'd recommend 360. No dedicated servers and prevalent hacking really bring down the PC version. The Xbox controller > PS3 controller for FPS games. Therefore, the Xbox 360 version is best IMO.

Although, I still prefer CoD4 over MW2. =/

How bad is the hacking on the pc version? i'v heard everything from that its on almost every game to that theres hardly any.

Only FPS i buy for PS3 are the exclusive ones.

i say Ps3 version there are more hacks for 360 so that kinda kills it. but it depends on which controller u prefer and on which console do u have more friends

I would seriously consider the wii version. At 6 frames per minute, you can actually see the individual bullets fly and then avoid them.

Facebook has nothing to do with Modern Warfare 2. Controllers and multiplayer do.

it matters not which you choose to play it on.

though if you want to play online and not want to pay go for PS3 though it really depends on where your Friends are.

You can't really go wrong with either, but I would say the 360 version is a step above. I find there are more friendly people on their mics and the 360 controller destroys the PS3's for shooters.DropTarget

The XBOX 360 has kiddies and so does PC, trust me there are so many 11 year olds on the PC version. They never shut up and they take the game so seriously.

360 version is for 8 year olds, Pc version is for hackers, ps3 version is the best one

umm, you forget that the Xbox version has 2.33x as many people. Meaning that less popular game modes won't be as populated on the PS3 version, so if TC likes that game mode it means: more waiting.

consider the possibilities, instead of a one-sided assumption.

it would also guarantee longer game lifespan on that platform.

I'll commend you for trying though.

Microsoft, in their almighty glory has invented something so revolutionary, so unheard of, so unbelievably simple to use: the mute.

you get 60 seconds to mute 6 players, use it. Oh, and people with mics have a symbol by their name, assuming it's 4 or so people who even have one on a team, it's even easier.

None of them. Just wait for March and get BFBC2 on the PC with ded. servers and destructible environments and vehicles.

No real cheating on 360 or PS3 versions. There is some on PC though not too much compared to other PC shooters. I personally own it on PS3 and PC. PS3 for me and PC I got to play with certain buddies.

Dont get it, I decided not to buy after I borrowed it from a friend for a month and a half. I went from being on every day to being on like almost never because of the sheer amount of bugs/glitches/hackers. Also, its horribly unbalanced. But you know if people arent hacking/glitching/modding/using akimbo models the game is reeeally fun. Its just frustrating to realise that that theres a new glitch every week.

Why would you buy this buggy mess of a game with a laughably short singleplayer?

If you are buying for the single player version, save your money.

For multiplayer, its a no brainer.

I have the PS3 version and since I am more into SP, I am deeply disappointed. I expected something like COD4, and I instead got a "COD4 ripoff".

For MP though, go with the 360 version.

none. save your money and preorder BF:BC2. trust me, i have every achievement for that game, put in over 3 days in MP for it, and never, ever felt the same rush as i did playing CoD4. it's just a bad, broken, imbalanced game. not worth it at all. the campaign is good though, and spec ops can be fun with a friend.
