What video game series' need to end now?

The video game series' that I think need to end now are:

1 Sonic the Hedgehog: although his genesis games were great, he has lost his touch.:cry:

2 Crash Bandicoot: He had some really great Playstation 1 games but not since.

3 Spyro the Dragon: He never really made any great games.

4 Halo: They may have made great games in the past but ever since Halo 3 the games are too repetative.

As I said before on a thread like this one:

"If I dislike a series I generally try to stay away from it, so I don't see a reason to erase something someone else might like just because I don't."

And I'd say the Imagine series if I have to choose one.

Almost every series owned by activision. At this point I really wouldn't doubt if COD7 uses a light gun or something terrible like that.

Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero are two good examples of what activision does with their series.

Tony Hawk - last game was an epic fail, SKATE has taken over and for good reason.

Crash bandicoot and spyro. Why Activision! why did you have to ruin two great series! :cry:

I'll say Pokemon, its still the same since the first one and its getting boring ( for me that is) its either they stop making the game or move to HD consoles that would be awesome to see a pokemon game on an HD console

Tony Hawk and Sonic games should either die, or get handled by a good developer that can reinvigorate and fix the series.

Hey, I remember seeing a thread like this a week ago. And then the week before that. Then the week before that. And then the weak before that, and it all usually ends up beings games people don't like rather than games that honestly need to end.

FF, i'm sorry but no game should what is now like 15 installments (not counting DS and psp ones). Plus Sonic as much as i love the series (sonic 1-sonic and knuckles), CoD,, and the ______hero. *puts up flame shield*

Sonic the Hedgehog and Final Fantasy. Really FF is just the same game formula over and over again, with different monsters and better graphics each installment.

Please make them stop. :)

Do you realise that there have only been 2 halo games released since halo 3? ONE IS A RTS AND ONE IS A FPS, so you're argument of they are repetative after 3 is stupid

I don't think there are any franchises that need to completely end. There are many that have become stale or terrible or both that need complete overhauling.

Sonic, Spyro, Crash, Dynasty Warriors, Guitar Hero, Rock Band to name a few.

Tom Clancy games, and pretty much just Ubisoft is general I want to die
