I've only been here for a little while, and I know that lemmings pretty much run this place. What was it like last gen for lemmings? Were they using the excuses that cows are using now?
Well, most of the Cows turned Hermit and Lemming this gen. The rest left. There are a few hanger-on's, but not like there used to be. They ruled SW last gen. Lemmings made the same arguments in the beginning, but soon settled for second place. You couldn't beat the PS2 monster. Instead they argued better quality titles.
Last genertaion the Cows were unbearable to be honest. The PS2 was "God's console" as far as they were concerned! Granted it had almost all of the best games, but that was more because of the great 3rd party support and the fact the the XBOX was so unproven for the first few years. All theXBOX had was Halo for a long time. Not until Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, Ninja Gaiden, KOTOR, FABLE and Jade Empire did the XBOX have games that appealed to the masses. For most the XBOX was for the hardcores, the Gamecube was considered "kiddy" which is funny considering it had the RE series and Eternal Darkness but whatever. The PS2 was the console for everyone I guess! But, the Sony fanboys were so arrogant about it! So if you think that the XBOX 360 fanboys can be overbearing at times in here, its nothing but payback for all of the years that the Cows were the same way last generation!
The reason the lemmings are being arrogant this gen because the cows last gen were awful, and it was even worse for Nintendo fans like me because we were considered "kiddy"just becausethe cube waspurple. We kept saying "don't hate us just because were purple!" but no one lisend and the cube wasn't selling so well too, but now things are the other way around, Sony is getting killed,microsoft is whoopin sony`s but and Nintendo is making so much money it isn't even funny.don`t ya justlove irony.So when ever you see a lemming bash a cow don't think "that poor cow" think "thats what you get"
last gen the cows were bragging about sales and how many games they had, lemmings and sheep were talking about graphics and quality over quantity.
this gen the cows are, ineffectively, making an argument of quality over quantity, saying sales don't matter, and saying graphics make the game, sheep are talking more about sales and how many games they have, and lemmings are kinda stuck in the middle, able to take hits from both sides.

Some are, yeah. I'll never say 360 is a better machine than the PS3. For now ,though, it has a lot better games, and the quality to boot. As for the Wii, I hate it. I hate the controller, last-gen hardware and it's reliance on the big 3.
