What was the first game you ever played?

^ Topic ^ Mine was actually my favorite game of all time, and one that is often revered as the best... Ocarina of Time. No kidding. It's no wonder I got so big into gaming after that. :P It was at some kids hair cut place where they have an indoor playground, and you can play N64 while you wait to get your hair done and you can watch kids movies while your hair gets cut. I loved that place, playing Ocarina of Time, I remember how amazing the graphics looked then... And I always got pissed when I came back and another kid was playing it. :P Of course, I could have played Pokemon Stadium (I didn't because the monsters scared me) or Mario 64, but all I did was play Ocarina of Time. Oh man, I'm nostalgiaing...

I honestly.. can't remember. Probably duck hunt.

I grew up with Super Mario Bros. basically, I even remember dying a lot as well, oh the memories.:P

Space Invaders on an Atari 2600. I remember inviting everyone over to play and getting grounded for having too many people in the house...

i remember we got a sega genesis and sonic the hedgehog 2 bundle, that was my first game i played, was like in first grade at the time

I can't remember tbh... IIRC I was 4 y.o. and now I'm 29, so as you can see, it's been a ****ing lot of time.

I do remember it was an Atari 2600 game, but don't remember if it came bundled with a game (probably Mrs. Pacman), but I remember a good number of games from back then: pacman, donkey, popeye, galaga, phoenix, space invaders, frogger, missile command, defender, pitfall harry,indi 500, asteroids, moon patrol, he-man, asterix, obelix, and one game I've never got to remember its name. It was really memorable to me because I never got wtf was I supposed to do lo (no, it wasn't E.T.l.

I wish I had it now to see if I was too dumb back then or if it was indeed completely senseless :P

I remember playing some ****ty Jeopardy game on Windows 3.1 (hooray for dating yourself!), but the first "true" game I played was Doom (hooray for parenting!).

IMO, Pitfall>Yar's Revenge>Adventure. Wish I played them before I touched the NES though, blame my friends since they got me into gaming on that system 1st.:P

Spear of Destiny. i don't think anyone knows what this game is. but it was pretty awesome. i was about 3 years old back then. ahhh...the memories.

My first game was a link to the past, or super mario bros 3. One of the two

I can't remember if it was Wolf 3-D or Doom II on my old PC when I was a kid or if it was Super Mario World on my cousin's SNES... or if it was Duck Hunt with my dad and uncle (though I was really tiny when they played Duck Hunt I was probably incapable of being coordinated enough to play a game).

I do know that Super Mario World and Duck Hunt would have been one-day treats while for Wolf 3-D and Doom II: Hell on Earth for the PC, well, I beat those both and they were awesome! (Is it any wonder I love FPS games nowadays? :P)

My NES came bundled with a light gun and this 3 in 1 packed with Duck Hunter, some game where you shoot a can and a western quick draw. I forget the name of all of them.
