There hasn't been a 360 game with 1080p native resolution and I don't see this ever happening on the 360. All the games that claim to be 1080p on the 360 are upscaled. Really the PS3 so far has only had games with a 720p native resolution tops (they don't try to upscale the games past the native resolution).

The big hyped game last year (Halo 3) on the 360 was only able to deliver a 640 resolution.

I would say it's so good that it's going to take a while before people realize it's a game and not a movie. But then there really isn't a visible difference in 720p and 1080p with most HDTV's at this time.

Actually I remembered wrong its 1280x1080, impressive for a game that looks that good but still a far cry from true 1080p.
