From all those I'd say Halo. MGS was just one game. Uncharted 1 sucked. Haven't played Gears 3. KZ 2 and 3 were great but Halo had more titles that I enjoyed.

omg, Mass Effect. No competition. Yeah, kind of an odd ending in ME3, but damn. Its got to be one of the best game franchises ive ever played, let alone this gen. It was, to me, an archetype of story telling, cinematic style, character development, and epic scale in term of video games

Exclusive franchise? uh I guess Halo. I thought the multiplayer was great in 3 and Reach. Uncharted 2 was ace, but not a fan of the original. And kind of disappointed(albeit a good game) by Uncharted 3. Though to be fair I was mad disappointed with each Halo campaign between 3-ODST-Reach. So I don't know. If we counted the other systems. Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 win out right. Both games were fantastic.

I myself would have picked Mass Effect as well, but the question is about exclusive franchises.

damn yeah i just realized that thanks EXCLUSIVE?...hmm i know i sound indecisive but im tied between Uncharted and MGS4 haha. Both are incredible

Halo series. For a 3-4 hour game I thought ODST was awesome. With a longer campaign and a multiplayer that wasn't just carried over from Halo 3, it could have been my favorite Halo this gen. Halo 3 was great in all aspects of the game, while I thought Reach had the better multiplayer and slightly weaker campaign. Overall though, the games in the Halo series are always packed with content and a ton of fun.

Why exclude Nintendo franchises, you scared your franchise would lose to SMG, nonetheless out of those, Uncharted I guess, but personally I preferred Ratchet and Clank to all those franchises, especially since Mass Effect is not an exclusive franchise

They're different franchises, but very similar. It was basically From Software's way of making Demon's Souls multiplat, since it was published by Sony

I say Gears, not really a top exclusive franchise but by the time the PS3 released it was the most comparable one to the PS3's premiere launch title (Resistance), and Gears was clearly the superior of the two, and I think that aided MS while Sony slowly got on its feet over the next couple years.

I don't know why GG keeps clinging to it, no one likes that franchise. They should try something new because it's obvious they are a talented developer.
