What was your biggest disappointment in the last 8 months?

Game-wise, which game/announcement/delay was the biggest disappointment for you in the last 8 months?

If you're gonna list a game... for it to be a big disappointment, you'd have to have been pretty hyped for the game and it would have had to fall short of expectations.

Mine would be:

Wasn't crap or anything, just expected a bit more from an FF title. I have a feeling SE rushed this, so hopefully with the next one for DS, they take more time to update everything, and not just the graphics.

Anyhoo, what do you guys think? What was your biggest disappointment in the last 8 months?

It would be Assassin's Creed.

It was fine playing it at the start, I understood all the Sci-Fi stuff, but was it really neccesary to do the same thing 9 times?

I would have to say it was Mass Effect. Still a great game, but I was hoping for a LOT more.

Stranglehold. I loved Hardboiled and Psi-ops was a fun game, what could go wrong?

Everything.

It was a somewhat enjoyable game (played through most of it on my friend's PS3), but just not as good as I expected. It was nowhere near as bad as reviewers said it was, but still dissappointing.

Frontlines: Fuel of War being cancelled for the PS3 at the last minute. How freakin wack, I've been waiting for this since last March!!!!djxaquaxblue

it's crap anyway, i'm in the beta. You're not missing much, battlefield 2 is a lot better.

Game wise ? It has to be assassins creed what an overatted snorefest that was.

that was my biggest gaming news disappointment.

the biggest game disappointment was probably MOHH2 for Wii. It have great controls but was just too derivative like the review stated. they need to do more with the story.

second would be Zack and Wiki. it's a great puzzle game but i didn't feel they did a good job with the adventure aspects. the world was meh. and the characters blah. the story and atmosphere was that of a bad anime.

Amazing let down from the original. Dialog ruined the whole mysticism and feel of the game. Awful gameplay variations. On-foot stages, what the hell?

Beautiful Katamari (360)

Short, unispired and more expensive. You have to purchase additional content that is already inside the game, and you can't even complete many of the achievements without it.
