What was your most addicting and personal favourite rpg on 2014? (POLL)

All of those are shit pretty much, so I picked South Park.

Divinity: Original Sin was easily the most well made one.

Shame i started it yesterday, TBH its fvcking awesome lol.

Plus wasn't bravely default released in NA in 2014?

Dark Souls 2 for its pvp. Will never forget fighting as a level 150 against level 500+ Havel monsters. Painful times. Followed by Divinity OS.

Divinity: Original Sin followed by Dark souls 2, rest are "ok"

Voted for Stick of Truth; but I played and put more hours into ESO in 2015, and started Divinity in 2016 and am around 90 hours (inflated) in.

I plan to pick up Stick of Truth again for Xbox One BC since I Gamefly'd it on PS3. I beat the game, but I want to collect everything. If its a pre-order bonus for the next one, I might get that day one, saving up those Bing Rewards.

Glad to see South Park beating the shit out of rest rpg games as personal favourite of users.Its become my fav also :)

Divinity:Original Sin by far. A cRPG masterpiece I'd say.

From that list Diablo 3. God, what a shit year if we're actually using the term RPG to describe Diablo now. I always considered it to be an isometric dungeon crawl.

Yeah, I always considered Diablo to be a Hack and Slash. Which is the tabletop genre used to describe games like that.

I'm gonna be one of the few people who will go with DA:i.

Wasteland 2

Divinity had my vote, and Wasteland 2 was a close second.

Some of the ones I played, or am interested in.

• Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor: I really wanted to like this game, and there was a lot to like. But the world and setting were just so boring and lifeless to me. It was just nothing but orcs and nothingness. And I'm such a sucker for LOTR
• South Park: Stick of Truth: Hilarious, witty and funny. It's the perfect South Park game. But even for a RPG novice as me it felt really easy. Some OP abilities could just be spawned and win every battle. Like Professor Chaos. But I like Professor Chaos, it's such a good South Park episode.
• Dragon Age Inquisition: Really want to play this game some day.
• Divinity:Original Sin: Also want to give this a try, but not a fan of turn based combat.
• Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls: Diablo 3 has to be one of the most disappointing games I've ever played. But this expansion supposedly fixes everything.
• Dark Souls II: I'm just gonna skip DS1&3 and jump into Dark Souls III, as that game looks really good. But I played Dark Souls 1 and the game bored me to sleep.

So my vote goes to South Park, for the story, how much it feels like the show, the characters, the humour, and of course: making Jew a class in an RPG. Hahahahahaha

Dark Souls 2

Divinity OS, no contest. Combat that good doesn't come too often. Did have a good time with Wasteland 2's too though, as buggy as that game was (and still is).

Retroactively, LISA The Painful is my favorite RPG of 2014. It's one of the most well written games I've ever played.

Diablo 3 for sure, I have over 150 hours in it.
