what Wii NEED!

in my opinion Wii needs a fps like halo one thats got a great online and controls are perfected for the wii mote halo 2 looked good and had great online last genso im shure Wii can produce an better looking game with better online ( and nintendo has to get rid of that awful freind code...) so theres my two cents Wii needs an online shooter on the level of halo (not a red steel sword swingin crapfest) too get the mainstream gamers and hardcore gamers to adopt its system :)

Why does every console have to be flooded with mindless, generic shooters?

Nintendo has always had a "vision". That "vision" includes excercise games. To have a shooter would not reflect what Nintendo's strategy is.

It would be nice to have some good shooters on the Wii but I have already accepted that there won't be. Plus even if there was a good shooter, it would probably be something Mario related with water guns.

It is definitely a gaping whole in the library , but I am not sure if anyone will ever do it. I don't see Nintendo ever trying something that ambitious anymore because they don't need to. They have found their market with the same old franchises along with more casual things that sell.Nike_Air

i would never expect nintendo to try and step up to the plate i mean look at ghost.... a good third party developer or better yet retro studios should really take advantage of this gap in the libary

yes but isnt the Wii controller supose to INOVATE cmon the first thing people had on their tongues even nintendo with the Wii mote was first person shooters it could realy inovate the genre :D

Generic games are not an issue with Nintendo. Look at all the mini games on the Wii- you will be seeing much more of those in the future!:wink:

I'm not going to lie--Nintendo needs a good online shooter. If not that, at least some true, quality online game.

Nintendo has innovated a lot, but for some reason it takes them forever to catch on when someone else does (discs for PS1/Saturn, online for Xbox/DC/PS2). In some ways, I like how they try to be different. But at times, it gets frustrating when they let it get in the way of progress. Plus, how will they know thatan online shooterwon't sell well if they don't try?

I'm hoping MOH: Heroes 2 is good, but I have suspicions that it's going to flop.

im not saying i like these games im just using them as examples, it needs somthing big and exlusive for atleast a year and not get ported to anything other than the PC not even the ds or gamecube or anything.

killzone -PS3

??? - Wii

Wii already has two great FPS: Metroid Prime 3 and Red Steel. No online needed. And yes I did say Red Steel. It was probably the most innovative FPS I've played in a while.Spindoc_SEI

Wii need to wait for games to come this system still hasn't been out for year. The wii is getting a online 32 player game wait for it.

Xbox 360: Rainbow Six: Vegas, Call of Duty 2

Playstation 3: Resistance: Fall of Man

PC: Doom 3, Half-Life 2

I don't want Halo.. never did like the game, and yes I have played it. Was an alright game, just didn't like it.
