The Xbox One has been getting allot of hate in the post E3 time frame for several of their policies.(This is a fact)
However, initial rage & sales don't always match. Which of these current policies/decisions will actually be the biggest anchor to sales Microsoft needs to address to stand a chance.
-DRM/Used Games/24 check in
-Weaker Specs
-Region locking/limited release abroad
-Privacy concerns with Kinect 2
-499$
Personally, I say its price. Price is a huge factor in sales, and by bundling Kinect Microsoft's lost that battle by a significant margin.
To be competitive they need to either
A: Drop forced Kinect bundle/use, to drop price.
B:Take a huge @$$ profit hit for each console for long run gains.
C:Have a contract plan in place & fully supported at launch.
