They are. They lost exclusives (or potential exclusives) like RE5, GTA4, and Assasin's Creed.

AC, and GTA were supposed to be PS3 exclusive. Sony screwed it up, so i wouldn't be suprised if MGS was next.

I'm hoping for Tekken 6. Namco is one of my favorite developers and the thought of missing out on their games was one of the reasons I held off buying a 360 for so long. Ace Combat 6 is great news, Eternal Sonata looks ok but I would prefer something more along the lines of Xenosaga in terms of design and art. Tekken 6 would be the game that made me competely sure about my purchase of an Xbox 360. I can live without it and I'm going to be spending less on games this generation (wanting to spend less on gaming was one of the reasons I got a 360 instead of a PS3, where I live the PS3 costs $1000 with no games and i gota 360 premium for $600 with DOA 4 bundled) but having the option to purchase the game would be better.

Capcom is not Namco, Konami or Square. Capcom are the people that made Resident Evil popular on the PS1 then ported it to Dreamcast and PS2, then made it exclusive on the gamecube with its small audience. Capcom is a company that makes five versions of Street Fighter 2 before they make a true sequel. Capcom is a company that just thinks of the quick buck. FF will never go to the 360 because it has no Japan support. That is a huge fanbase for FF. People need to stop reading to much into Capcoms moves. Remember Capcom took resident Evil from the PS2 that had a huge fanbase and made it exclusive on the gamecube, lol. Capcom going multiplat does not indicate that Sony is not doing well, its just Capcom, no loyalty, quick money.

Just Capcom? Last time I checked Ace Combat 6 (Namco) is now on 360 and seems to be exclusive at this point in time. That series has been exclusive to Playstation as long as the Tekken series has. There is also Sega who is bringing Virtua Fighter 5 to the 360. The PS3 is not selling as expected and if companies want to stay profitable they are going to have to shift development resources to adapt to the situation. Oh and for anyone with a short memory MGS was multiplat (PC, GC and PS1) and MGS 2 was also multiplat (Xbox, PC and PS2.) FF7 and 8 were also multiplat (PS1 and PC) so such a thing is possible.

Capcom and Koei both think about the money their gonna make. And poeple really don't care about games that go console to PC. But Console to console is actually a bigger issue.

Tekken and Ace Combat are two completly different games. Namco made games for the Xbox as well but their big hitters always stayed with the Sony system. Ace combat possible exclusivity has nothing to do with Tekken. Sega is a multiplat developer. Sonic goes everywhere as well as most of their games. Virtua fighter is not Sonys, it was the adopted step child Sony took in after the Dreamcasts defeat. Virtua Fighter going multiplat has nothing to do with the PS3, it has more to do with Sega trying to make as much money as possible. MGS 2 and MGS twin snakes were attempts to see if they had a fanbase with those consoles, both sold poorly which is why MGS has stayed with Sony. Now on top of that SOny supposedly is also making the MGS movies. I dont really see MGS going to the 360. You forget that the 360 lost Saints Row, Oblivion, NG, and many others as well. Its like Sony said a while back. Exclusives are gonna be scarce this gen due to high costs for developing.

Capcom's financial situation has been no secret. I'm not sure about Konami, but Square certainly has strong financial backing already. Furthermore, Ace Combat 6 was previously unannounced... not the same thing as being announced as an exclusive on a system and then being ported to another system. Let's not forget that the 360 is losing exclusives also. 3rd party support is merely expensive... especially this early in a new gen. The president of Square has been vocal about their comittment to keep FFXIII & VS on PS3. The only game that I think could be questionable at this point is MGS4... but even that would be a timed exclusive for Sony.

You do realize if you use the PC multiplat excuse then the 360 will have 0 exclusives.

Really can you explain to me that logic, that when a Sony game is on a PC its a loss and when a MS game is on the PC its still exclusive.

MGS4 i tihnk will stay on PS3 but MGS4:Substantialistence will go Multi-Plat. Like MGS2: Substance

The only reason i think MGS3:Subsistence didn't got to Xbox was Microsoft dropped support of Xbox. PC though.. i dont know.. Maybe server costs to expensive maybe... I dont know..

But MGS4:Substantialistence FTW! on PS3 and 360.

And maybe a special Wii exclusive MGS. Kojima has expressed interest in the Wii.

Published by Sony. No chance that will ever come to 360. However considering who is developing it, there is a good chance it wouldn't be as great as many people think it will be. The developer last game was Kung Fu Chaos and while this doesn't mean it will be bad for sure, it's not as if the game is coming from a proven developer who has a good record.
