What will be the PS3s Killer Game?

What will it be? I mean Little Big Planet and a bunch of those other games are fun and stuff, but it really is not a killer game for the PS3... The Xbox 360 has Gears of War/Halo3 the Wii has all of the great mario games and a bunch of the Mii related material.... Will Sony come off with an amazing new game this year? I can only hope, that's for sure

For the rest of the year, inFamous, MAG, Uncharted 2, GOW III, etc. are all full of potential.

If I could slap the TC I would, consider this a virtual slap. PS3 has "killer games" already, see MGS4, R2, Uncharted, Killzone 2, etc.

I would say that the ps3 has 3 killer exclusive games - Metal Gears Solid 4 Gun of the Patriots , LittleBigPlanet, and Killzone 2 .... surrounded by about 10-15 other very good to great exclusive games with Uncharted probably being the best of that bunch. So I guess the real question is when will the next killer exclusive game arrive ? God of War III would be the best betto bethe ps3's next killer game , but Uncharted 2 could be that game before GoW III considering how great the first one was.

Gran Turismo 5. It's Sony's Flagship franchise for a reason. The GT series has always been used to showcase Sony and it's hardware.

Most of the new stuff in every GT is too subtle for the average gamer to notice. GT5 I believe has a gigantic physics system implemented so you can drift realistically in the game, much more realistic than any other racing game, but like I said most people wouldn't notice the improvement from GT4 nor understand how to make use of it, myself included. And almost for sure GT5 will get a huge amount of sales, most of those buyers aren't even gamers to begin with.

Funny how last gen Sony fans were all about sales, now it doesn't matter? I own all 3. Out of the "big" titles for PS3, I own 1 - MGS4. I've played Uncharted, LBP, Killzone 2, Resistance 1 & 2. For lack of better description, none of these games made me "feel" next gen like when I first played Gears of War. I hope Sony starts releasing games that feel next gen, because I hate having a blu-ray player that plays a few games as well.

Well you sound very informed :roll: . Killzone 2 just released and it's at least on par with both Gears 1 & 2 and Halo 3 and then there's MGS 4, LBP, Resistance 1 & 2, Uncharted, Valkyria Chronicles, ect.. and has God of War III, Uncharted 2, and inFamous all coming. If you're going to make a thread like this I'd hope you'd at least know something about the PS3's library first. Do a little research next time.

God of war 3 , Twisted Metal or hopefully a new Syphon Filter

LBP IS a killer game. So is MGS4, Resistance, Uncharted and Valkyria Chronicles. Heavy Rain looks very promising, GoW III will most likely be awesome. Uncharted 2 is coming up and White Knight Chronicles could be surprising. Then there's FFXIII Vs. (2010 release, though) and Killzone 2 is an incredible package for shooter fans. Flower looks fun, and the next ICO game will be revolutionary as always. The future is bright for the PS3. As for the XBOXc360, Gears of War doesn't interest me, and Halo isn't much different from other shooters out there. There are onlytwo games I want that is exclusively for XBOX 360: Braid and Star Ocean 4. Wii is like the Gamecube, has few great exclusives, but those few are extraordinary.

God of War III looks set to make the most money and GoW might even become Sony's defining franchise in the coming years (God knows they need one).

The most exciting upcoming games however are Heavy Rain and the next Team Ico project, assuming it ever sees the light of day.

God of War 3 most likely.
