What will happen on November 20th???? (Uncharted vs. Mass Effect)

on the 20th, two of the most anticipated games for 360 and ps3 will be released. mass effect and uncharted.

both games have been wildly hyped since their announcement (tho uncharted is hyped AA because cows are wimps, but thats neither here nor there) they each get at least two "AAAA GOTY ON LOCK" threads each day.

So how will the 20th of november play out? both exceed? both flop? one or the other?

Mass Effect = 9.5

Uncharted = 7.5

i think Mass Effect will get 9.5 and Uncharted a 8.5

mass effect will sell way better because of bioware and the larger base of the 360.

with R&C getting a 7.5 i wouldnt be suprised if uncharted: drakes fortune gets about the same. this game does not really get me excited one bit and i am just waiting for some great games to come on my PS3 but I think I have to wait for MG4 for that.

Drames Fortune might not be bad it might just be that games like Halo 3 just came out and games like Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, and Assassins Creed coming soon.

Mass Effect'll do better. It'll get marked down for its combaty/actiony gameplay, but the strength of the whole story and RPG gameplay will get it a good score. Probably.

After Gamespot flopped R&C, I lost all faith in them

Everything coming out on the PS3 is 7.5 and below......MGS4 gets a 8.0

Its really pathetic to see PS3 fanboys hyping Uncharted simply for its graphics,lol. They should of learned after what happened to LAIR, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, and now RAC. Uncharted doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Mass Effect. I can't wait for the flop train to come rollin in for the PS3 again!jd7-03

They are the only ones to rate it below 9.0. Everyone has lost faith. I've been playing R & C today and I wish I could say what I'm thinking and not get banned. They made R & C for a young audience GS what do you think it's supposed to be hard? Kingdom Hearts is a kids game and it's easy and other games are made for a younger audience too. You don't punish a game because it's aimed at a younger audience. All systems need all kinds of games. OMG!

Casey, according to a majority of users in bed with the ps3, the GS score determines whether a game is a flop. If R&C wasn't a flop because it scored high everywhere else, then neither is TP (96% on game rankings) or MP3 (91% on game rankings).

On to the topic at hand. Mass Effect will destory Drakes Fortune. Putting them out the same day is a really bad move by someone somewhere. The fact of the matter is, Mass Effect is the flagship next-gen RP game. It's introducing a much more indepth and developed story, and the mechanics to match. Drakes Fortune looks really good, I'd even hazard a guess that it's going to be the most fun game for the ps3 thus far, but Mass Effect is in a different league.

It's like comparing Tolkien to Eddings, both exeptional Authors, but Tolkien is the greatest word builder to ever touch quill to parchment so to speak.

mass eefct wil get a higher score, but that doesn't mean uncharted is a bad game.i'm buying it. it looks like old school fun.

Well i already know that i will enjoy Uncharted way more because i prefer the genre, i even don't know if i will like ME because i did not like KOTOR so i hope it won't play like KOTOR.skyform

It won't play like kotor and that's good, at least for me beacuse that was really slow and boring, this will play like rainbow 6, actually it will play like you wanna it to play
