I'm curious about this, as I'm wondering what will happen should games like Tekken 6 & Final Fantasy XIII turn out to be better on 360? It may or may not, but it's possible.

They will look similar. Crystal Tools is a multi-plat engine and Square knows what they are doing, and won't let one version be infeior to the other.
I wouldn't really care. If either were PS3 exclusive they'd be out by now, but since they went multiplat they needed some time to get the 360 ports up to standard.aaronmullan.....You couldn't be more wrong. FFXIII wouldn't be out in NA without the JPN version being done. Square is working on the 360 version at the same time as the PS3 NA version, nothing is being delayed and they will release Spring 2010.

It wouldn't matter in the slightest, you will have the odd systemwar fanboy will claim superiority of his slightly better version. The majority will just buy it on the PS3 anyway.
Gamers are expecting those games too look better on the PS3 though. If they look better on the 360 it will have a bigger impact. What will happen?
The same thing if Games like FFXIII and Tekken 6 turn out better on PS3.

Also take into consideration the port of the Ghostbusters game. I'm sure that SW and similar sites willl be crazy, but life will go on, both version's will sell fine. Some of These What If scenarios can only be taken so far.
Lemmings would claim ownage and Cow would claim ownage with sales and damage control the fact the FF XIII 360 is on 4 disc (just assuming but since BD & LO were on three)FlamestosLO was on 4 Dvd's. . .and was a great game. I personally will hate System Wars for a few weeks after FFXIII comes out because cows will say, "Lemmings have 4 dvd's. pwned." and lemmings will say "Cows dun have teh exclusive FFXIII." And Both will look just as foolish. I personally will just enjoy the game and avoid SW for awhile.

Actually, if we think logically about it, SE doesn't have infinite resources. They only have so many people able to work on the game.
If the team responsible for the 360 Port were working on the P3 version, the game would come out sooner. As a matter of fact, FFVersusXIII is now delayed, so SE could make this game on both platforms, in a way, gamers are suffering, as FFVs.XIII team is being forced to help with the FFXIII Porting process.
Makes you think about it, really.
this game has taken so darn long to come out that ive honestly stopped caring about it. Its probably going to be a huge let down anyway.

Well I was talking about SW and the gaming world, and of course no one will care after a month or so, it is the internet afterall. :POh? Fair enough. Oh well. As long as it's a quality game, I don't care about delays.[QUOTE="SoulEater30"]Yeah, that's understandable. Most people come to that conclusion consderin that's how most ports are. So true. We have people saying, "The only reason why the 360 versions of multiplats look better is because that they developed it for the 360 first!", but then look at what happens when games are being ported from the PS3 to the 360 (such as Virtua Fighter 5) or when games are being the lead platform for the PS3 before 360 (such as Dead Space & Ghostbusters). They still came out running & looking better on 360.
So, people should indeed have concerns about it.
I wouldn't really care. If either were PS3 exclusive they'd be out by now, but since they went multiplat they needed some time to get the 360 ports up to standard.aaronmullanand yet from what we've seen is that they didn't start work on the 360 version till 2 months before E3 and the demo they showed of the 360 version was near to spot on match to the ps3 version...ain't that odd?
You're looking too far into it. MS might have funded the 360 version, the videogame industry is a shady business sometimes. I'm just happy that more gamers get too play and that I don't have to buy a PS3 to play the NA version, I'm importing the JPN version on the PS3 so I win regardless. :DActually, if we think logically about it, SE doesn't have infinite resources. Yeah, that's true, I suppose there could be secret fundage fo FFXIII going on, but FFVsXIII is delayed, Nomura is helping with FFXIII right now.
Ifboth games are kick arse, I'll be happy though. :) One thing to wait, another to wait for something that's AA material after so long.

Nomura is only involved with the character designs in XIII, but the Versus team is helping with the porting. Both games are confirmed to be at Games Con so hopefully we get some footage. :DThey created the game on the Ps3 and ported it over the the Xbox 360, the Ps3 version will look better.
Yandere
wait they arleady finished the game on the ps3?
then that'll prove even more that 3rd party developers should really go take a programming class from sony first party developersI'm curious about this, as I'm wondering what will happen should games like Tekken 6 & Final Fantasy XIII turn out to be better on 360? It may or may not, but it's possible.

http://www.giantbomb.com/news/final-fantasy-xiii-xbox-360-is-only-two-months-old/1411/ "Up to the trial demo version that was released [in April] in Japan, [FFXIII] was PS3-only in terms of development... The Xbox 360 version is definitely following after the PS3 version, but [we] were finally able to come to a point in the PS3 development where some of the staff could take their hands off and start programming the 360 version."What will happen?

I wouldn't really care. If either were PS3 exclusive they'd be out by now, but since they went multiplat they needed some time to get the 360 ports up to standard.aaronmullanI don't think that's the case for FF13 but you're right about Tekken 6. We can thank Namco and possibly MS for that, it should have been out long ago.

if a port version (x360) end up better looking graphic than the orginal version(ps3), then Sony and fanboys should all just stop dreaming their cell super power fantasy.I'm curious about this, as I'm wondering what will happen should games like Tekken 6 & Final Fantasy XIII turn out to be better on 360?
