What will make you purchase an Xbox one?

Look at the poll:) for me its if they upgrade the specs, like come on! i cant possibly purchase a console with a 50% weaker gpu than the ps4 -.-

If I could spend $500 comfortably I'd buy one as is.

If they got DRM back offered prices competitive with Steam and had a lot of exclusives. All of the Xbox One's potential has been ended in an attempt to appease little kids and the less then a fraction of a percent of people currently on a Nuclear sub marine.

Its not a 50% weaker GPU, its a 33% weaker gpu. Or the PS4 is a 50% more powerful gpu depending on how you want to look at it.

That said i doubt the graphical fidelity is going to be anything major, and not enough for me to care. Microsoft needs to prove to me the kinect is going to be worth it, and a $50 price drop would certainly help with that.

I will buy xbox only if they have a new Spyro, Banjo Kazooie, Conker, Sky Odyssey, Front Mission, Chrono Cross, Driver, Mega Man, Final Fantasy, Twisted Metal, Metal of Honor, Silent Hill, Socom, SSX, BMXXX and Shadow of the colossus.

Those are my demands. Otherwise Xbox is dead to me. ALSO after I'm done playing those game id either sell it or smash it. Whatever arouses my interest first.

I wouldnt and wont be buying an xbone at all after all the fiasco's past and current and STILL ongoing, MS look like a company in turmoil over their new machine and have no idea what to do with it and who would spend many hundreds on something like that?? not me and im sure im not the only person thinks that way.

Ive always had good experiences with sony consoles so i'll be sticking with what i know this coming generation.

Everyone is entitled to on what they want to get personally ive been enjoying sonys consoles since ps1 era and for me sony has been good with exclusive games I do like the x1 but they have nothing to show besides timed exclusives

So... nothing, then? Since a couple of your demanded games are owned by Sony, and will never appear on anything but playstation? Except for that one time, on PC.

I like the games.  I will be purchasing both the PS4 and Xbox One on day one.  

I had zero problems with Microsoft's DRM policy before it was changed.

I suppose I would buy a PS4 in 5 years if it had 20 exlusives I had to play. And the system was $250. As for Xbox One pretty much nothing. 

After I buy all my Wii U games, upgrade my PC, and maybe a PS4, then I'll buy an Xbox One once I can afford it.

well, at first i hated kinect with a passion, but its probably whats enabling the xbox to be able to turn on your TV. so its kind of like a universal remote controller which is pretty cool. not that many devices feature both hdmi in and out, so having more centralized control of all your entertainment is pretty cool. i'd be willing to check it out

Already getting Xbox One on day one for these reasons:

• Killer Instinct (Xbox One Exclusive)
  
• Better exclusives than PS4
• Better online service than PS4
• Better use of cloud technology than PS4
• More advanced features (voice and gesture controls) than PS4
• Better controller than PS4
• Proper DirectX support - multiplat games may run better on the Xbox One (compared to the PS4) because of this.
• Better build quality - obvious when looking at pictures of it compared to the PS4.

It would be highly unlikely for me, since it is the most expensive of the new consoles, there aren't enough exclusives I'm really interested in the justify upfront cost, the hardware isn't really all that impressive compared to the alternatives, not a fan of MS policies, etc.  So unless that those change (not likely) I don't see much point in getting one.  

Microsoft needs to get their messaging together first & foremost. With the #dealwithit, and "Buy a 360" arrogance fiascos they showed really left a bad taste in my mouth about the company. Sure, All companies are out to make a profit, but at least try to make you fans/customers feel like their hard earned dollars matter. Which is exactly what Sony did this time around. I don't understand why so many xbox fans dont get that fact. I was once an Xbox supporter you know.

At the end of the day, it's not all about ZOMG Titanfall or DR3, or whatever candy Microsoft tries to make you submit with, it's the arrogance. That is the same arrogance which kept me from buying a PS3 earlier this gen. At least Sony seems to have learned their lesson and are learning that humbleness brings you fans, fans = profit.

Low standards confirmed. I deal with missing a few exclusives. My life doesn't revolve around games. PS4 is best choice for a well rounded console.

If it helps your little fanboy head sleep easy at night there is nothing I have seen to make me want an XB1 yet. 

Persona 5 Xbone exclusive.

Altready have mine pre-ordered! The XBOX ONE to me is more a jump in technology than the PS4. The Kinect 2.0 functionality, cloud processing, XBOX Live still being superior to PSN, the XBOX controller, better exclusives for my tastes and its the console that all of my gaming friends are getting. The Sony fanboys just keep pulling the "our GPU is more powerful card", but it is really like beating a dead horse because these specs that they are relying on are still only hypothetical numbers. Just because the power is there, it doesn't mean that every single developer will tap them. I seriously, seriously doubt that outside of a couple of first party games will we see this gap is graphical fidelity that the Cows think there is going to be and even at that, it wont come until the later part of this upcoming generation. I look at it this way, we have had some beautiful games this past generation and both of these new consoles far surpass what we have seen over the course of the last 8 years, so I dont worry about this "graphical superiority" that the Cows love to hang their hat on!ShoTTyMcNaDeS

Same thing as any platform I buy, the certainty of good exclusives.

A price drop + a few good exclusives that interest me and I'll probably cave.

Only issue is that between PC, PS4 and WiiU I dont know if I'll have the time to make owning an X1 worth it.
