what will the new xbox have for advantages?

If the ps4 is more standard pc architecture and is more powerful what is the reason to get the xbox?  The main advantage the xbox had was multiplats generally ran better.  I'm guessing that won't be the case this gen?  Or am I wrong?  Just an actual question.  I've had an xbox this entire gen but am strongly considering switching to the ps4.  If it releases earlier it will h ave that headstart as well.    Xbox has xbox live and halo and gears(neither of which I play) but other than t hat I don't see the advantage.  I Always thought the ps3 had a more varied library of games.  it just always got the shaft with multiplat games.

IS the xbox going to have better memory caching again?  From everything I've read the ps4 has faster memory and better processors.  

As the nextbox will be kinect focused then it will be handy for people with very young children, for more muppet games and the like.

am I wrong in my thought process though?  less power, releasing later equals fail?  we haven't heard the specs of the new xbox yet  but that's what i'm getting from it. Unless MS drops a bomb somewhere.
