we know it's inevitably coming from 343 (expect it to be announced 2011, then released late 2012)

I think they confirmed that 343 industries would continue off the cliffhanger in the Legendary playthrough of Halo 3 and call it Halo 4. It would make sense I guess, the last 2 were prequels (and ODST was basically an overpriced expansion).

Why does the Halo series get bashed for "milking", even though it consistently gets AAA here at Gamespot? Why is the Metal Gear series so praised yet it has far more iterations than the Halo series could ever dream of? I don't have the time to count them all.

Reread my question. Both are milked, yet Halo gets bashed & MGS is the second coming of Christ. Why?

Why does the Halo series get bashed for "milking", even though it consistently gets AAA here at Gamespot? Why is the Metal Gear series so praised yet it has far more iterations than the Halo series could ever dream of? I don't have the time to count them all.

how about their wont be another halo this gen? halo reach will be played by more people for a longer time then any ps3 game... then just make halo 4 for next gen
