Hm, I went on Gamefaqs' top ten message board, and I saw zero new entries since KZ Mercenaries and P4G still at the top since it's release. For those too "cool" for Pokemon or those who don't like the 3ds, what will you be playing on your Vita when Pokemon comes out? What upcoming games are there, blab?

Well, I own both a 3DS and Vita. Thanks to PS+, I got to try out Rayman Origins, which was really awesome, especially on the Vita's OLED screen. I haven't gotten Killzone Mercenary yet, but the one game I'm looking forward to is Tearaway (by Media Molecule, the people who developed LBP).Â

I haven't played Pokemon since Pokemon Red. I was thinking about trying the new one just out of nostalgia.
As a 3DS owner I'm not 100% sure if I'm getting it on launch. I'm so busy at the moment, but as soon as I get all that out of the way, I'll be getting Y asap.Â
It's a damn shame the vita doesnt have more good games for it and there doesnt seem to be much on the horizen either...impressive peice of hardware that is capable of a lot...so much wasted potential.

Just didn't sell good enough yet, I don't even think Japan cares about it. Maybe after the release of ps4 the sales will skyrocket?Â

Dude, you missed out on some of the best games ever. Get X and see if you like it; if you do, you probably wanna hunt down a copy of HeartGold/SoulSilver and playing that. As someone who has nostalgia for Red, you will love that game.

See if you can't find HeartGold or SoulSilver there and pick that up along with X :P Trust me, you won't regret it. The true ending will have you completely floored (and nostalgia-gasming) for the next five years.
Out of the Vita and 3DS, I only have the 3DS and will def not be playing Pokemon. I don't have the patience to grind those kind of games anymore when the story doesn't give me an excuse to push forward (there is no excuse for them not to at least try with the story in these games) and would rather be playing something else.

As a owner of both handhelds, I haven't played the 3ds since smt4, and I stopped as the game is downright boring with very little story, unlike strange journey in the ds(which I loved). Now the games I have been plying on vita lately: Killzone mercenary, (best handheld shooter ever) Dragons crown Jak and daxter collection Soul sacrifice Muramasa New little kings story Velocity ultra Dragon fantasy book 1 And pixel junk monsters ultimate (because some reason system wars people don't realize digital downloads exist, or more likely many around here Can't access them because they aren't old enough to work or own a credit card, hence their love of Pokemon. What else could make them play the same game over and over and over again. As for in the future- Hotline Miami 2 (again a downloadable game .."what are theses" said sys wars kiddies..) Tear away by media molecule Dragon book fantasy bk2 Rogue legacy Terraria Minecraft Batman Arkham origins Vahalla knights 3 Y's celestial (because "the vita doesn't have jrpgs" said Nintendo fanboy/vita hater #9892) Plus all my ps4 games next month I can play while taking a dump... How awesome is that, better yet I can be taking a dump at work, because the vita Will remote play over wifi and control my ps4 remotely. So lets add Killzone shadow fall Knack Drive club Ac 4 Watch dogs Resogun Thief 4 Transistor Battlefield 4 And many more in the future to that list. I hope this anwers your question, but I am sure to get flack as I must be the only manticore who loves all handhelds but can't stand Pokemon or non plat forming Mario.
