What will you do if XBOX 3.0 has noticeably better graphics than PS4

Just curious as to the value of graphics among people here. It's a possible outcome seeing how XBOX had noticeably better graphics than PS2.

Buy the console with the games I'm interested in... just like in this gen.

BTW, does that mean we would be getting a better looking RRoD??

Wait for the 6 year warranty. This gen is 3 so it's obvious next gen will have longer lifespan and longer warranty.

I'd buy it. Not due to the fact it has better graphics. MOre for continuity. Bought the original xbox, the 360, so logically I would buy the next version

Graphics doesn't matter that much. As long as PS4 have on par graphics with the new 360, I wouldn't bother. I have my PC for great graphics which makes console games look like a joke in comparison (except MGS4, GoW3, FF13 who have great graphics even compared to PC)

Microsoft knows how to make a good controller, games, and online so I would upgrade day one.

As usual, I'll just buy all the consoles. I'll prefer PS4 over Xbox anyday though.MS hardly has any good exclusive game franchises while Sony pumps out great exclusive after great exclusive. I mean what will MS release? Halo 5? Gears 4? Its about time MS gets some 1st party rolling so they won't have to rely on 3rd party so much.

Unless there are truly no exclusives next generation, I'll just have to buy both again.

it'll be irrelevant, because i know that my pc will be having better graphics anyway

I think you have it the wrong way around. PS4s graphics will be better than the 3rd Xbox, because Sony will come out with the PS4 after the 3rd Xbox and they'll put the latest technology in it; 3D gaming, latest HD/3D movie watching capability, latest web browsing in it, best music playing, photo software, controllers will be better etc.

if you want graphics console gaming is a waste of time go pc .

May I point out that the games on the PS3 that are "graphics kings" like KZ2, UC2, GOW3 are actually good games? This seems to pass a lot of people. "All cows care about is graphics." While that may be true the games with good graphics are good games. That being said, I could still see a lot of cows becoming lemmings if that happened.

As for me, I will probably get most if not all next-gen systems like I have now. Still missing out on the 360 (the lack of free WiFi capabilities is what's keeping me back)

I will stick with playstation. One thing I WON'T do though, is post about how "equal" the two machines are (ahem, lemmings) when there is clearly a difference (ahem, lemmings). I wouldn't want to make myself look foolish like that. :D

Buy every console I can afford, same as with every console generation.

Ive always had a top of the range PC since around the year 2000, I need to for my 3D work

and there's usually about a year or so where a new console will look better than a PC

when Shenmue came out the Closest PC game graphically was probably project IGI or Deus Ex and Shenmue looked signifcantly better particularly on the faces, I remember laughing at how bad they looked in comparison

same with Halo when the closest was Medal of Honor : AA or RTCW, Halo looked quite a bit better

or GRAW on the 360 looked better than anything on the PC, and it took about just over a year (til after Gears of war) when a PC game looked better

so the PC games dont always look better,

I could care less if MS releases a console that is used to power and make PIXAR and Disney animated movies for 300$, has free online and 100% backwards compatible with lifetime free replacement.

After MS messing up this gen it has totally made me hate them and everything about them.I will only be buying Sony and Nin next gen.

Buy both systems anyways like I have done this gen.

Continue to support both companies.

Enjoy it right along with my PS4, as I will be buying both as usual anyway.

If XBOX3 has better graphics than PS4, I will get both.

As long as both systems have good games I'll get both, unless one of the consoles is $600 again. Then I'll just wait until the price drops.

As far as graphics go...see my signature. I still enjoy playing my SNES every so often. Game play is the most important part for me.

this really depends on whether i will have to pay $50 a year and replace AA batteries. and the RROD is enough to make me think twice about buying a MS console.

I wouldn't care. PS2 was by far the best console last gen and didn't have the best graphics.

So, we'd be back at the XBox vs PS2 generation, I see..
