What will you do when the Wii sells more V2.0

Since when did the Wii really count when it comes to console wars. In all reality the Wii is a whole different subcategory of gaming device. I have one and love the thing but any hardcore gamer is still going to own either a 360 or PS3 eventually. The Wii is selling well because of novelty and price. That said even if it does end up selling more units then the 360, does it even matter, the 360 sells to a much older demographic then what the Wii does. I am not calling the Wii kiddy, but you are blind not to notice that the Wii is more of a kid console and thiose tyoes of things sell like hotcakes.

The Wii may pass the 360 by Christmas, but sooner or later when the truly great next gen game start flooding the market, people will abandon the Wii as their main console. The lack of online and other shortcomings will catch up eventually. The Wii won't failand will go downa s a great console, but sales are irrleavent since the Wii is like putting a calulator next to deep purple.

Oh, you mean because its not a console? Because it doesnt play games? Because you cant buy it? Yeah....big reasons why it should be considered as a totally different category as though we arent comparing gaming platforms.

What I really meant was that sales of Wii does not really slow down sales of other consoles. Most gamers will still want a powerful machine that lets them go beyond what they did with the last gen version of a game. The Wii is cool, but motion sensing is not revolutionary, the thing is still a Gamecube, a much better and more fun Gamecube, but still a Gamecube.

Are you telling us the lack luster sales of the Xbox 360 has been solely due to how "well" the PS3 is selling?

Can you read at all. I own all 3, I could care less who sells the most systems. If the Wii sells 40 million systems in the next 4 days does that mean the amazing looking games will be playable on it...NO!  The Wii will lack a lot of things that will be possible in other systems. That is what seperates it.

The sig I found on another forum and I just thought was funny so I used it. It pisses me off That I have nothing to play on it right now so I will express that, I had one making fun of the 360 a while back ago.

Well you're prettymuch absolutely right. No matter how many units the Wii sells, it's flaws will catch up with it as big big games start hitting the other 2 late this year. It may even sell the most, but there's no way it can satisfy an actual gamer this whole generation.Lazy_Boy88
