PS4 will probably be $1000 and not even be fully backwards capable to the PS3. By then, Blu-ray may have lost the media battle with HD-DVD and Sony will have switched to yet another unproven format to use with it's newest hyper-expensive, quick to die off, machine. Oh yeah, they'll also hype it as the second coming of Christ himself.

Nothing. If there's a PS4 next year, I'm sure the games will play on PS3. It'd probably be a PS3 with no Blu-ray, software BC, and a tiny (if any) hard drive.
