Has it even been announced yet? I ask because i just saw a thread with someone claiming sheep had become cocky now that Mario Galaxy had won game of the year, but i checked gamespot's Best and Worst section and there's no winner there yet. Can someone clarify?

And while we're here; what SHOULD be game of the year 2007?

From what I read, someone went onto the Game of the Year section and was able to download the video (since it won't stream yet), and found out the winners in each category.

Never mind. It seems that gamespot is just a little glitchy. It still says that the winner has yet to be announced but i just saw the bumped thread about Galaxy winning....

I watched the video and they specifically said that Galaxy won GOTY, because I remember Ryan Davis and Alex Navarro talking about the game. I'll try and find the clip.

its called fanboys and every cow voted cod4 because its theironly good fps.in the other hand lems split votes with halo and cod4 and herrmits split votes with crisis and cod4.

PS the supposed vids on the winners is false. Shooter GOTY is Crysis.

no COD4 is just plain better than halo3 (don't think I've ever been so dissapointed with a game) and crysis.

Just watch the video for the genre awards, but in the page for best shooter crysis won. Dosnt make any sense, COD4 won in the video but crysis won in the page for best shooter

After playing Crysis and SMG, SMG is the clear winner, imo. Crysis is a great game, but SMG is just out of this world.

NO crysis did not win best shooter, Call of Duty 4 did. Crysis couldnt of won because it wasnt even nominated. The nominees were 1.Bioshock2.Call of Duty 4 3.Half Life 2: Episode 24.Halo 35.Team Fortress 2

I downloaded the Video and saw it with my own eyes. Its also on Youtube, Super Mario Galaxy indeed did win game of the year.

hey crysis isnt as good as you say it is. i mean yesoverall it is a decent game but there alot of stuff that should have been looked at like: the physics of crysis, the ai bots. Yes, i will admit that the visuals of crysis look amazing. The explosions look fantastic. But, overall, crysis is a pretty basic first person shooter experince. I mean, there is really nothing unique about the game. But, all in all i give it a 3 out of 5.
