honestly. the conflicker virus is scaring me a bit. but i have been looking around the net for stuff to avoid it. one thing i came across is....

the virus is supposed to occur on april 1st 2009. what ppl can do is change the date on their computer to a totally different one, and it will not affect your pc... if there really is a virus.

yes the antivirus program SHOULD work (i use that term with serious caution). many people who use the computer for recreational purposes and do not have a clue about the protection a computer should be getting MAY get the virus. so yes you are right, but some may not have the proper security.

ya no problem. i already changed mine to february of 2006. make sure u have anti virus program with all the latest updates and everything just in case of the virus being "REAL". if it is actually "REAL" this could be a major disaster.

If Nintendo announced WII Music 2 (with more waggle, MIDI, and new suits like a Cow Suit or Pig suit) or WII Eat (a simulation where you learn to drink and eat with motion controls). THAT has to be April Fools worthy :lol: (unless they DO relese those "games" before any of their big titles :().

i too already got fooled, for the longest time i though the ps3 was going to get a price cut around this time but the ps2 was the one
