What would happen if Halo 3, MGS4 or Metroid Prime 3 don't receive AAA ?

These 3 games are undoubtedly the biggest games coming out for next gen consoles this year and they are all expected to get AAA by the fans.

Now if one of these games don't get AAA it would be as big as last year when Zelda TP didn't receive AAA.

fanboys will die, gamers will still play the game regardless.

people always forget that a review is nothing more than an opinion. you should use review as a guide rather than a buy or not decision. some idiots on gamespot dont even read the review, they just look at the score and thats it and make their decision if its a good game or not. seriously, really sad.

Oh. Then you'll probably get a countless number of generic threads with fanboys saying stuff like "(insert name of game) flopped, (insert name of console company) is t3h failz0rs!!!!!!!!!!!1". Then a countless number of generic counter-threads like "(insert name of game) sold (insert amount of copies) in (insert time frame)!!!!!!!!!!1".

During all of which I will shake my head and keep playing my PS2.

well the MGS series has never been guaranteed AAA so it's not a huge surprise if it doesn't score high.

(it's kojima's last game of the series though so it better be good)

Halo 3 will get AAA mostly because it's the type of game most of the GS review staff goes ga-ga over (it's a fast paced action game, not cause they're lemmings).

MP3 is probably the most likely to not get AAA status mostly because it was the most overated gamecube game I've played, and I don't think it can make the jump to the wii either.

My guess is if MGS4 or MP3 don't get AAA cow/sheep will complain gs is biast (sic), and try to use gamerankings.com as the official SW source.
