What would happen if Halo Reach flops on every sites?

there is massive hype around Halo Reach and no one has even played it yet and already calling it graphic king and best fps. im loving the hype so far and will be very entertaining in SW to see what happens after the release. Either it will flop hard or succeed... we'll just have to see. will it be able to stand up to battlefield company 2 and modern warfare 2 and the rumored killzone 3? we saw what happened with uncharted 1. didnt do well but uncharted 2 made up for it and scored big. killzone 3 may follow that same path. Something doesnt feel right in killzone 2. It got nominated but never win the big awards. That's sad that so much time was put into it but it only put a dent on halo by being known as graphic king next to uncharted.it hasn't killed halo yet, but we'll have to wait for the upcoming killzone 3. ;)

Fanboys would claim ownage/damage control, would be talked about for a week then fade away, fanboys will make pointless future threads using Reach, same thing that happens to all major games in SW.

Well it would never happen. Hypothetically though, we'd have a huge jump in the Cow population, followed by a severe decrease in the Lemmings population, with a board full of Halo Reach flamebait threads.

If it flops, 6 million copies sold on launch day. If it gets AAAA everywhere, 6.1 million copies sold on launch day. Either way, Reach is going to sell.

the content in Reach is pretty much guaranteed. (theater, firefight, co-op, forge+more)

if the story holds well, it's a 9.5, no lower.

It would be like Halo Wars and Halo ODST. Halo Wars flopped here (a game i enjoy by the way) and Halo ODST (a game that i also loved but was not worth $60). Lems would damage control and Cows would claim ownage. But overall the sales will go above anything that comes out at the same time and will also show that microsoft will market it to high heaven and people will buy it.
