I have a few ideas.

1. Cops and Robbers - A global mini game involving stealable appartment items - sneaking into other people's appartments and catching others in the act.

2. Table Top RPG rooms and Trading Card Games- Forget getting 3rd party game company support - get Wizards of the Coast involved. Have tradable card games available, as well as books for table top RPGs so you can use the social network to play them.

3. Street Fighting - Seriously, PS home needs more violence.

Home mostly needs to look more exciting and have alot more things to do, but one of the biggest improvements they could make would be to stop charging real money for clothes and furniture. What they need todo isput in a virtual cash system in which the player could make money by winning in online multiplayer, socializing, exploring and winning trophies.

I think they need to add purchasable Plasma tvs for your space that stream videos from your HDD. Movie night, anyone? 8)

First of all, I think it needs to come out of Beta and be installed on everyone's machine. Create an option to boot up in Home and use your private space to navigate the XMB menus (radio for music, TV for video, etc). This would immediately introduce a lot of people to Home, and honestly what Home needs more than anything is more users. It would also remove the barrier between "normal" PS3 tasks and Home, which is pretty much the largest obstacle to its use. I also think Sony needs to do a better job reaching out to organizations and users to create common interest groups. An obvious first step seems to be immersion programs; create spaces where people can go to learn and speak a particular language. Reaching out to educational institutions seems particularly fruitful. But user-created organizations seem like a natural use of the platform, though Sony has hardly created a great system for such groups. The best you could do now is use someone's apartment space. Third, Sony needs to follow Second Life's lead and allow users to create their own buildings, items, etc. Although this is hardly a priority, it has helped cultivate Second Life's success and created a wide variety of new possibilities for the platform.

This. The amount of starter clothes available to you is ridiculous. Also, I want to be able to fly. If not that then I want to CQC people MGS4 style then dissapear with octocamo and have everyone get question marks above their heads. :P

Sony should discontinue home release a public apology to any one that actually uses it *all 30 of them* and then redirect all the money and research into other aspects of the ps3 like restoring BC, geting games on the system, making psn better.

What would make Home better is if they did away with it. Seriously! Its like the Sims but charging your real bank account money to wear stupid clothes or buy new furniture. Home was hyped as some way to connect with the community but now we all see that it did not live up to that dream. I say destroy it and start over.

Home is a great concept, it's just poorly implemented.

If Sony wants to improve it, the first thing they should do is add better minigames and shows.

Home needs some games that are icebreakers, so i can meet people. I don't like going up to people I don't know and just starting a chat. But if they had something to break the ice, I would more likely talk to people and create more friends.

I was really hyped for this but since i initially downloaded it I havent been on it since. It a massive waste of time imo and doesnt live up to what was promised. Not to mention theres no way in heck im paying real money for a digital couch or a new tshirt for my avatar thats ridiculous. Home should be scrapped and normal psn community should be improved ie cross game chats and invites

Serriously, what would make home better is quicker access. If they want Home to be a place where everyone goes to meet people and launch into games instead of merely just booting a game up, they need to make the loading significantly faster. And allowing gamers to launch into other games besides Warhawk would makes some sense too. (this is the most disappointing part)

I like number 2 a lot. And I've thought for a loooooong time that Sony should partner up with Wizards. That would be a massively smart partnership.

A casino.

They also need to figure out how to queue players in a game and not make them wait forever. And loading and releoading everytime you leave an area really makes it annoying to travel around.HOme is a good idea but it's being done by people who don't seem to have a real grasp on how to make something like it work well.
