Seriously. Would we even have a 360? What other franchises wouldn't be around without the success of Halo? Would we have a Gears? GRAW? Would we still even have Lemmings?

Where would Nintendo be without mario, and whats with the my first FPS thing? Most people I know have played other FPS before they tried Halo, most people I know like Halo quite a bit.

Just about every platform had one icebreaker that made it successful. Notice I said the word Icebreaker..

PS1 didn't really make it big time til Squaresoft annouced it wasn't making N64 games, and released FFVII.

Nintendo's NESMario really stood out from all the crap out on the industryand brought US gamers back into gaming.

Others: Gameboy's Tetris, Genesis Sonic,and Atari's Pacman.

Halo being the main incentive to buy the original xbox i doubt ther would be a 360 without it

Halo was originally designed to be an RTS. I'm more interested in how that would've turned out.

halo 1 was on pc, mac and 360, halo 2 wa sonly on xbox then pc.
