I'd say Riddick, but it may not count, being it was based on a character, not really a movie.

So I'd have to go with Goldeneye.

Those are the 2 best I think I don't know about other ones.

It was very very very loosely based on a Russian film from the late '70's. It's a rather difficult, expressionist, existential film. Its a rather important movie in foreign cinema as is the director.

Butcher Bay ties into the movie, though, in more ways than just the character.

I would say King Kong as well because of how original and fun it was.
