DEFINATLY SHOULDNT BE HALO 3........ it could be close between haze,cod4 and orange box. i dky but people just love shootersmclovin401

Anyways, it's between Orange Box, World in Conflict and Halo 3 from what has been released so far. I don't think it will be Orange Box because it's not all new, so that leaves WIC and H3.
Right now it's a tight race between Halo 3 and The Orange Box. Halo 3 is extremely feature rich and is the frontrunner for multiplayer GOTY, while The Orange Box is easily the best value of the year. If GS had to choose right now, I think they'd go with Halo 3. The Orange Box would be a strange pick IMO. It's not really a complete game, but rather an assortment of old and new content.
The only other games that have a shot at taking these two down are Mass Effect and Mario Galaxy, although I have serious doubts about the latter.
As for WiC, it doesn't have a chance, despite its 9.5 score.
