[QUOTE="Requem"][QUOTE="KingsofQueens"][QUOTE="gamer0100"][QUOTE="KingsofQueens"][QUOTE="The_Best_yet22"] They are releasing BWII a day before Halo 3 do they really think that will work out, nintendo must not have high expextations for that game because it is no doubt gonna get Smashed only game nintendo has a of now with hopes of denting Halo 3 is SSBB or Galaxy. Andc yes I am a Nintendo fan, or sheep
KingsofQueens
SSBM/SMG.... even if, hypothetically, a New LoZ came out.....all 3 combined cannot even obliterate Halo 3's hype and expectations, let alone sales.
There has never really ever been a game that obliterated anything. Just alot of fanboy hype. SSBB will be amazing and will sell throught the Wii's lifespan. SMG will be a fanbase hit. MP3 will be another string to real hardcore gamers in. Sry KingsofQueens keep dreaming.
I'm talking about popularity, hype, aggressive marketing etc. Something that gives a certain fanbase the attraction towards a game or franchise....the enticement....the LONG LINES to buy these games.
So far, the Halo franchise is extremely popular, it's become a phenomenon. And I don't see it ever letting up. SSBB, SMG, MP3 will surely be big hitters, but usually among sheep and core gamers. If you were online to buy Halo 2, two years ago, you'd probably understand. Most of the people that bought Halo 2 were hardcore, gaming casuals, lemmings and parents who bought for their idiot kids.
I'm not dreaming....it's called being in REALITY.

It's become phenomenon?I dont think so.I will name you some phenomenons, Sims, Pokemon,Halflife/Counterstrike,Final Fantasy. Now these are phenomenons but not Halo. But if you are saying Halo is a phenomenon among the xbox gamers you may be right(lol).SSBB,SMG and MP3 are not phenomenons but Mario is.I think you understand my point.
No, just no. I'm talking about sales, the hype, the long lines, the aggressive marketing, the amount of preorders, the amount of gamers logging online, the online parties with friends, etc.
Counterstrike, yes.
You do know, in case you've been living under a rock, there are Xbox gamers who are also multiconsole owners as well. Lemmings love Halo....but also those outside that fanboy category love it too.
Â
Haha you are a really funny clown. The only person in this thread that has been living under a rock with a xbox console is you. Halo is popular, but you make it sound like its one of the biggest franchises out there and like every single gamer is waiting for it to be released. This is what happens if you play xbox for a long time and have no social life.Â
