What's so great about god of war's story?

I beat GoW and GoW 2 and can't see why do people like their stories so much,why do people like their storiesso much?

First, cause it's so much better than the rest of the crappy stories in games

I didn't like the story because it didn't really have a moral in it,and for the guy above,I'm into Greek mythology stuff and that's why I like the GoW series.

^This, i mean,is not hat i don't have an idea, but overall the story is not so complicated, what it makes the series so great is theEpic feeling.
