Whats the actual hype for Wii Music?

There have been countless threads on wii music saying the game will flop, is ruining gaming, not even a game etc

But I was wandering what are you guys actually hyping the game?

As there have been some decent previews for the game I think it'll score 7 at most

The ones I read were worse than bad. Most said the game was irresponsive to the point of being broken and boring.

When going in to preview a game like this, one must remeber the target audience. I already used the example of the Eye Toy

And like I said, ones I read were largely negative. I honestly don't care one way or the other, as there is zero chance I will ever get this game, even if it plays perfectly, as this is not something that I would want to do with my time.

In fact, the music game sub-genre has lost all appeal to me, which sucks, because I spent lots of money on fake plastic instruments and microphones.

You (and anyone) have all the right to hype this game, but because of the nature of the game and people who roam these forums its gonna be criticized and trolled.

I think the game can be alot of fun for the public its intended or even gamers who might want something lite and different

I think it's looking at 3.5 at best. It's going to be a functioning game, and it can be fun for children undeniably, but c'mon, there's no way it'll get A.JAB991

Thats what I'm saying, I doubt I'll get the game but the game could be fun with a bunch of friends so I'm thinking it could score 7 (at most)

One things for sure, I don't have the money for it. I know very little about it besides what i saw at E3, but i don't think it will score very high.rebel1423

I'd rather spend my money on other things but I'm guessing/hoping that its a budget title

the hype for wii music is a flat line. A dead zero.

But it will still flop, because we know no matter how bad we think it'll be, it's going to be worse.

What seems to infuriate most game players on here is that there is no 'game' in Wii Music. It's more like a toy, and for someone reason people can't handle that. Yet Mario Paint bothered no one.

And if it was a game, people would be crying 'Cripe! Do we really need another Rockband/Guitar Hero/Rythym game?! Nintendo has no originality!'

If you research about what the game contains, it's pretty fleshed out and not shovelware by any means.

It actually credits Nintendo there is more outcry when you think about it
